Kaiden felt a bit uneasy, but he tried to brush it off. “How about we go outside and talk? It’s a nice day.” He asked.
Aka shook her head, her smile growing wider.
“That wouldn’t be fun. I like it better here. Let’s have some fun.” She said and lay on bed.
“You can’t be doing this” Kaiden said and grabbed her arm to dragged her up from the bed.
“I love it here” she said with a smirk and before Kaiden could react, Aka suddenly dragged him closer, and he lost his balance, falling onto the bed. Aka started to climb on top of him, but Kaiden pushed her away.
“What are you doing?” he asked, trying to sit up, but Aka was using her power to hold him down.
Aka’s smile grew wider, and she started to caress his cheeks. “I’m just having fun. Don’t you enjoy it?”
Kaiden just glared at her, feeling angry and helpless. He tried to move but couldn’t.
“Surprisingly, I just liked you the moment I saw you,Your smile, your face, your features… I want you. And I always get what I want, even if that means cheating on the man I’ve been waiting for like forever.” She said with a smirk.
Kaiden’s eyes widened in shock as Aka leaned in closer, her lips inches from his. He tried to struggle, but Aka’s power was too strong.
Just as Aka was about to kiss him, Ryder’s voice cut through the air. “Kaiden, you won’t believe this!” he exclaimed, entering the room.
But he stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes widening in surprise as he took in the scene before him. Aka quickly got off Kaiden and smiled innocently at Ryder.
“See you later,” she said to Kaiden, before walking over to Ryder.
“I’ll visit you tomorrow. He’s so boring, I’m sure you’re more fun.” She whispered to Ryder with that, she pecked Ryder on the cheek, leaving him looking stunned and confused.
Ryder walked up to Kaiden, a look of concern etched on his face. “What was that?” he asked, his voice low.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with her,” he said, frowning. “She suddenly showed up and started acting weird. Nothing happened between us, though.”
“She’s different, Kaiden. I’m getting some weird feelings anytime I’m with her.” He said with a smile.
Kaiden raised an eyebrow. “I hope it’s not what I’m thinking?” he said, a grin spreading across his face.
Ryder chuckled. “Let’s forget about that for now. There’s something I wanted to tell you.”he said.
“What is it?” Kiaden asked.
“There’s a visiting period at the end of this week.” He said.
“Visiting? What do you mean?”Kaiden’s eyes widened.
Ryder smiled. “Once in a while, we’re given three days to visit our families. And this time, it coincides with the celebration of the Goddess.” He said.
Kaiden’s face fell. “But I have no one here.”
Ryder clapped him on the back. “Don’t worry, you’ll come with me. I’m sure you’ll love it.” He said.
“But you have to disguise yourself. They can’t know you’re human, or…”
Kaiden’s eyes widened in alarm. “Or what?”
