THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 41 – 50

Benedicta, who was sitting in the canoe beside him, turned to “What’s a phone?” she asked.

“It’s something totally amazing, created in our world, You can use it to capture images and videos, and even communicate with people over long distances.” He said.

“I wish I could see it,” Ryder said. He was also sitting beside Kaiden.

As they continued to drift across the lake, the sky began to darken, and the air grew cooler. Suddenly, a bright golden moon appeared in the sky, casting a warm glow over the landscape.

“It’s time to make your wish,” Belladonna yelled, her voice carrying across the water.

Kaiden watched as everyone closed their eyes, their faces tilted upwards towards the moon. He stood up, his eyes scanning the crowd until he spotted Maledicta standing on the shore.

He made his way towards her, As he reached her side, he turned to face her, their eyes locking for a moment.

Together, they closed their eyes, their minds focused on the wishes they wanted to make.

As they stood there, the only sound being the gentle lapping of the water against the shore, Kaiden felt a sense of connection to Maledicta that he had never felt before. It was as though they were two souls, bound together by a shared destiny.

Benedicta, who was watching from the canoe, felt a pang of jealousy. She had never seen Kaiden look at anyone with such intensity, such passion. She felt as though she was losing him, as though he was slipping away from her grasp.

As the moon reached its zenith in the sky, Belladonna and Maledicta dropped water into the lake, creating a ripple effect that spread across the surface of the water.

Kaiden returned to his seat, his eyes fixed on Maledicta as she stood on the shore with Belladonna.

“Who is that masked girl?” Ryder asked again, his eyes fixed on Maledicta who was still playing with water.

Kaiden turned to him, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. “I told you, she’s a friend.”

Ryder’s eyes narrowed, “That’s not the answer I want,She looks familiar, and my sister has grown really attached to her.” Ryder said.

Kaiden leaned in close, “She’s Maledicta.” He whispered.

Ryder’s eyes widened in shock, and for a moment, he seemed frozen in place. Then, a slow smile spread across his face, and he started to chuckle.

“This should be interesting,” he said.

“I can’t wait to see my sister’s reaction when she realizes she’s been having fun with her greatest enemy.” He laughed.

As Ryder spoke, the sky suddenly darkened, and a loud rumbling noise echoed across the lake. The water began to churn and foam, and people started to fall into the lake, their screams echoing across the water.

Kaiden’s eyes widened in horror as he watched the chaos unfold. What was happening? And why was everything falling apart?

A dark demon emerged from the water, Aka’s face lit up with a malevolent smile. She had been waiting for this moment, and she was eager to see the chaos unfold.

The people around her shouted in fear, scrambling to get out of the canoes and away from the demon. The group of students immediately sprang into action, working together to save those who had fallen into the water.
