Maledicta nodded, vanishing into thin air. Kaiden opened the door, and Ryder came in, looking curious.
“Why did you take so long?” Ryder asked.
Kaiden shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant.
“I was just preparing. I have to go for training.” He said.
Ryder raised an eyebrow. “Again? Aren’t you tired?” He asked.
Kaiden shook his head. “I’m not.”
Ryder looked skeptical, but Kaiden didn’t give him a chance to ask more questions. He took off running, leaving Ryder behind.
“The seniors always train themselves at night,” He yelled after Kaiden but he was already gone.
“He is so suspicous lately” Ryder muttered to himself, shaking his head. He went back to his room, looking thoughtful.
Meanwhile, Kaiden ran into the training ground, his eyes scanning the area until he spotted Maledicta pacing around. He grinned, feeling a sense of excitement.
“Finally, a quiet time,” he said, hugging her tightly.
“I’ve been wishing to have you in my arms since morning.” He added.
“Me too.”Maledicta smiled.
Kaiden’s eyes locked onto hers, his voice taking on a serious tone.
“Let’s build a private place for ourselves, a place where only we know about. We could have fun, do a lot of things and no one will disturb us” he said gently.
Maledicta’s smile grew wider. “Let’s do it.” She said.
They started kissing, Kaiden’s hands roaming around Maledicta’s body. But their moment of intimacy was short-lived.
“What did I just see?” Thane’s voice said, his tone shocked.
“Tell me I’m dreaming,” Lilith said, her voice equally stunned.
“What the hell?” Belladonna yelled, her voice piercing through the air.
Kaiden and Maledicta quickly disengaged, looking around in shock. They were met with a sea of faces, all of whom looked like they had just seen a ghost. The senior were staring at them.
Cassius looked like he was about to faint, his eyes fixed on Kaiden and Maledicta with a mixture of shock and horror. Benedicta’s face was red with anger, her eyes blazing with fury.
Kaiden and Maledicta stood frozen, unsure of what to say or do. They had been caught red-handed, and they knew that their secret was out.
