THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 61 – 70
The boy’s eyes widened in terror as Benedicta’s grip tightened, cutting off his air supply. He struggled and kicked, but it was no use. Benedicta’s grip was too strong, and soon, the boy’s body went limp.
Benedicta dropped the boy’s body to the ground, a look of satisfaction on her face. She lit a fire with her hand and burned the boy’s body, erasing all evidence of her crime.
As the flames consumed the boy’s body, Benedicta was more angry, she wasn’t expecting the type of reaction she has gotten from both Kaiden and Maledicta but she is not ready to give up.

Aka trailed behind Maledicta, her eyes fixed on the girl’s back as she walked towards the urge lake. It was early in the morning, and most students were preparing to go to breakfast.
Aka’s hand tightened around the little bottle-like pin she was holding, her heart racing with anticipation. She had been waiting for the perfect moment to strike, and now was her chance. She would attack Maledicta from behind, quickly grab her blood with the pin, and then vanish into thin air. It was a foolproof plan.
As Maledicta approached the lake, Aka tiptoed closer, her footsteps silent on the grass. She was almost within striking distance when Maledicta suddenly turned around, her eyes locking onto Aka’s.
Aka tried to vanish, but Maledicta was too quick. She reached out with one hand and grabbed Aka, lifting her off the ground with ease. Aka struggled and kicked, but Maledicta’s grip was like a vice.
With a swift motion, Maledicta threw Aka away, sending her crashing into the tree. Aka’s back hit the stone with a sickening crunch, and she groaned in pain as her backbone broke.
Maledicta took deadly steps towards Aka, her eyes blazing with anger.
“You’re getting on my nerves,” she muttered coldly.
Aka was already bleeding from her ears, nose, and mouth, but she tried to plead for mercy.
“I’m sorry, I just wanted to greet you. Please don’t hurt me.” She said.
Maledicta’s expression didn’t change.
“This is your last warning. Anytime you approach me again, I will not spare you.” She said and with that, Maledicta turned and started leaving, leaving Aka to writhe in pain on the ground. Aka’s vision began to blur, and she knew it would take a long time for her to heal herself.
But Aka’s hatred for Maledicta burned brighter than ever.

Ryder walked into the library, his eyes scanning the room.He spotted Arachne sitting at a corner table, her nose buried in a book. Ryder remembered their previous encounter and felt a pang of guilt. He had been rude to her, and now he wanted to make amends.
He approached her table, clearing his throat to announce his presence.
“Hey, what are you doing?” he asked, sitting down opposite her.
Arachne glanced up, her eyes narrowing slightly when she saw Ryder. She returned to her book, ignoring him.
Ryder raised an eyebrow. “Did you just ignore me?” he asked, his voice tinged with amusement.
Arachne looked up again, her expression unreadable.
“Who are you?” she asked, her voice dripping with disdain.
“Wow, have you forget about me?” he asked.
“I did not, you’re the one who was talking about my favorite person(Maledicta). I approached you because I was curious, but you ignored me. Did you know who I am?” She snapped.
Ryder shook his head. “No, I don’t. And what’s with the butterflies flying around your head?” He asked.
