THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 91 – 100
Benedicta’s relief turned to anger as she realized she had been outsmarted.
“You think you’ve won, but you haven’t,” she muttered to herself, her eyes blazing with fury.
But when the students appeared, Benedicta quickly pasted a fake smile on her face, hiding her true feelings.
“Hey, guys,” she said, waving at them and the juniors bow in respect.
Meanwhile, Maledicta arrived in Kaiden’s room, finding him already asleep on the ground. She picked him up gently and laid him on the bed, her eyes softening as she looked at him.
Kaiden was crying in his sleep, his face twisted in a mixture of fear and pain. Maledicta’s heart went out to him as she realized he must have been having a nightmare.
As she listened to his muttered words, Maledicta’s eyes widened in horror. “Please, don’t kill me,” Kaiden muttered, his voice trembling with fear.
He was actually having a nightmare of a young boy sorrounded by a lot of people, they were trying to throw him into a burning fire.
Maledicta’s expression turned fierce, her eyes blazing with anger. She pulled Kaiden closer, holding him tightly as she tried to comfort him.
As Kaiden continued to cry, Maledicta started patting his back, trying to soothe him. Slowly but surely, Kaiden’s cries subsided, and he fell asleep in Maledicta’s arms.
Maledicta watched him for a while, her eyes softening as she looked at him.
“He must have pass through a lot” she muttered, soon, she also fell asleep.

It was a rare day off for the students, and the counpound was filled with the sound of laughter and idle chatter. Some students were lounging in the sun, while others were engaged in lively games of tag or hide-and-seek.
But amidst all the revelry, two figures were seen sneaking out of the school. They moved stealthily, trying not to draw attention to themselves as they made their way towards the back gate.
Once they were outside, they quickened their pace, trekking through the dense forest that surrounded the school. The trees seemed to close in around them, casting deep shadows that made it difficult to see.
But the two figures pressed on, their eyes fixed on some point in the distance. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they emerged into a small clearing. In the center of the clearing stood an old, dilapidated house, its walls cracked and weathered with age.
Aka, one of the two figures, made a move to vanish into the house, but Ryder, the other figure, quickly caught her arm.
“You can’t vanish into my grandfather’s house,” he whispered urgently.
“You’ll be in trouble. We have to walk in.” He added.
Aka nodded, and together they approached the house. The front door was already open, creaking gently in the breeze. They tiptoed inside, trying not to make a sound.
An old man was asleep in a chair, his chin slumped against his chest. Ryder and Aka exchanged a nervous glance before moving quietly past him into the bedroom.
Once they were inside, Ryder gestured to a small door hidden behind a tapestry.
“This is where he keeps the book,” he whispered.
Aka’s eyes lit up with excitement as she reached for the door. But Ryder caught her hand, holding her back.
“Let me do it,There may be a trap.” He said.
Aka nodded, and Ryder carefully opened the door. A series of arrows shot out, but Ryder and Aka were quick to dodge them.
As the arrows clattered harmlessly to the floor, Aka reached down and picked up the book. She stood up, a bright smile spreading across her face.
