CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE
ZODAR
“Good morning Stephanie” Derrick greeted.
“Morning guys. I prepared breakfast. Hope you like it” she said as she dropped the tray on the table.
“Im not hungry” Kelvin said as he stood up and went back to his room.
“He’s just worried about Lillian. Dont sorry, I’ll go console him” Derrick said as he stood up.
Leo smiled.
He took the spoon from Stephanie.
“Don’t you stress yourself. Sit down and I’ll serve the food” he said.
“What the………”
“Did you perhaps say something?” He asked.
“Uggrrh” she said as she sat down
Tina laughed
Leo served everyone’s food, covered Derrick’s and Kelvin’s food and gave a plate to Stephanie.
“Why is my food bigger than the others? I can’t finish this” she said as she pushed the plate away.
“You have to finish everything on that plate or else……..”
“Or else what? What are you gonna do?”
“I’ll eat your food”
“Suit yourself then” she said as she stood up and walked away.
“Hey, where are you going?”
“Don’t you dare follow me” she warned as she made her way to her room.
“Telling her my feelings is gonna be hard. She really has a great deal of attitude.
“How am i gonna convince her of how much i loved her? Leo scratched his head and walked back to the dining”

“I just have to keep avoiding him. Very soon I’d forget about him.
“Hes always giving me a reason to answer him. Goodness knows how long it’ll take before i forget him.
She said as she sat on her bed.
“Oh shit! I’m starving” she said as she held her stomach.
“Knock knock” Leo said as he placed his hand on the door.
“What are you doing at the front of my door?” She asked as she sighed.
“At least open up”
“I’m not gonna”
“Aaaah! My hand! It hurts” he shouted as he feigned crying.
Stephanie quickly opened the door and met a smiling Leo who was holding a tray which contained food.
“Let me see. Where did you get hurt?” She asked, looking stressed.
“Here” he said as he stretched out his right hand.
“There’s no injury. You skunk” she said as she wanted to close the door.
But Leo put his leg on door, not allowing Stephanie to close it.
Finally, Stephanie gave in and opened the door.
“Good girl” he said as he entered and dropped the tray on the bed.
“What do you want and why did you bring a tray of food here?” She asked as she folded her hands.
“Its for you. You didn’t eat anything at the table so i brought food for you here”
“Well I’m not hungry” she said as she held her stomach.
“You better be cos this food is entering that mouth of yours” he said.
“And who’s gonna force me?”
“Me” he said as he said as he took the food.
“Never mind. Give me, I’ll eat” she said as she snatched the food from his hand.
“Suit yourself then” he said as he watched her eat.
“Youre so stubborn” he said as he put his hands in his pockets.
“You can go now” she said.
“I’m not going anywhere cos i wanna tell you something” he said
“What?” She asked.
“Uh…. I kinda…… i really really, i dunno how……” He stammered.
“That’s it, get out ta ma room” she said as she pushed him towards the door. Having successfully gotten him out of the room, she banged the door at him.

“I haven’t still found Keira” King Rexandro said as he walked to and fro.
“I’ve sent all my guards to earth but no one has seen her. The guard that claimed he saw her said she was a replica of her mother.
“I have only heard but i haven’t seen her. What if the prophecy comes true?” I have to do something.
“What if she’s in Zodar?” He asked himself
“I just have to find out” he said as he headed towards the throne room.
ON EARTH,
ENDERSON’S MANSION
Mrs Enderson came into the house with the police.
Mr Enderson got up as soon as he saw them enter his house.
He looked at his wife and asked the policemen.
“What brings you to my house?” He asked.
“We were ordered to search your house. This woman here claims you kidnapped her son and hid him somewhere in this house.
“What has gotten into you?” He asked his wife.
“Go ahead and search the house please” she told the police.
They started the search.
“Listen woman, for the umpteenth time, i didn’t kidnap Kelvin” he said as he stared at her.
“You are blaming me when you never cared for your own son. You always ignored his cries and everything he ever wanted.
“Now that he is missing, you want to accuse me so as to get your wanted revenge on me right?
“You’re an ungrateful mother” he said as he walked away.
Mrs Enderson stood speechless as she watched him leave.
Maybe he is right. She has been an ungrateful mother who mounted all the anger she had towards her husband to her only son.
She never cared about him. She only wanted him to support her in all the allegations she made against her husband
“Kelvin” she said as she wept.
“Please forgive your mother” she said as she walked out of the house, leaving the police behind.

Priya woke up on a mat and opened the only window in the bedroom in which the three shared.
She got up and cleaned up.
“Mum, dad, I’m going to work” she said as she made her way towards the door.
“Go well my child” Mr. Dickson said as Priya closed the door behind her.
She stood on the road, wondering how she was going to walk the long distance.
She started walking. She finally reached her destination and knocked on the door.
A middle-aged woman opened the door.
“Oh Priya, pass through the back of my house. I’ll meet you there” she said as she closed the door.
Priya walked towards the back of the house and looked at the fishes in the baskets.
The woman came out and said,
“Smoke these five baskets of fish and sell them today. I don’t want any fish to remain. So get to work” she said as she walked back into the house.
