But even whole everything was happening, Rona was busy staring at Martin while rolling her hair with her finger,as if she would eat him up whole.
Sitara tapped her.
“Take it easy sis” She whispered.
Rona blinked and quickly looked away.
Maliah was the only one who didn’t utter a word.
A minute later and suddenly, Diora started coughing.
Martin’s eyes widened and he quickly rushed to her.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
Everyone stopped eating and focused on her now.
Martin gave her water, she drank but the cough didn’t stop.
The next thing, Martin brought out his gun and pointed at Mr Romano.
Everyone gasped.
“What the fuck did you put in her food?” He asked.
“Young man, calm down” Romano raised his two hands. .
“Calm down? What the fuck did you do to her?!” Martin yelled and adjusted his gun.
“Is this happening for real? You think I will try to hurt my own daughter….” Before Romano could finish, Martin already pulled the trigger,aiming at him seriously.
“Martin wait!!!!!” Diora screamed.

For the last ten minutes, it’s been totally quiet, no one has gotten over the fact that Martin had almost shot Romano down if Diora had not interfered.
Turns out she only got choked coz of the spicy food.
“Apologize” Mrs Romano said, breaking the silence.
All eyes turned to Martin.
“I don’t want to” Martin said boldly without cracking at all.
“How dare you! Who do you think you are to suspect my family?! You think I will ever do anything to hurt my own daughter?!” Mrs Romano yelled.
“I’m just doing my job, you can call the boss if you want an apology badly” Martin replied and Rona tapped him secretly, he rolled his eyes.
Diora sighed.
“I apologize on his behalf” She said.
“Why are you apologizing on his behalf? Sounds like you supported him shooting dad” Maliah snapped.
“He’s only doing his job, and that’s to protect me against anyone. Don’t blame him, you can blame me though if you want” Diora said.
“Wow, you’ve changed” Sitara muttered.
“You are right” Diora looked at everyone.
