THE VALLEY OF HATE AND LOVE : CHAPTER 31 – 40

Some minutes later, the door opened and Kyros walked in,that same time,Diora turned around and their eyes locked. She noticed he had another outfit on too, and looking insanely handsome as always.

None of them said a word, Diora stood there,nervously and waiting to capture a single expression on Kyros face but none was found.

Just the usual blank and cold face.

“Let’s go” He finally broke the silence.

Diora’s heart broke into ten shades of sadness instantly as she watched his back while he walked out of the dressing room.

She gulped and went after him, carefully taking her steps after the other till they eventually got down and out of the luxury home.

Diora saw Timothy and Ryker alongside other bodyguards,obviously they are going straight to the ball party.

She just kept on walking slowly at the back, Kyros didn’t even notice she was far behind until Ryker opened the door for him to enter the back.

He turned and saw Diora coming, when she saw him,she stopped walking. The excitement to go to that party wasn’t there, she just wanted to cry out loudly.

She saw all the guards entered the cars,leaving just Kytos, she wondered what was wrong until he started walking back to her.

Diora batted her lashes and looked up at his face when he stopped in front of her.

Silence followed.

“Why are you standing here?” Kyros asked.

“Oh…I was..no reason..I don’t really know how to walk in heels” She stuttered.

That’s not totally a lie,she can’t really walk in heels but she stopped for another reason.

Kyros gestured his arm for her to hold, she looked at him first.

“Hurry up, little one” Kyros grunted deeply.

When she was taking a minute,he bent a little and swept her off the ground, he carried her in a bridal style.

Diora gasped, but stood still. He carried her like she’s got no weight at all.

They got to the car and he opened then dropped her on the seat,Diora kept staring in shock,until he looked into her eyes.

She expected him to just close the door and leave her,but she stayed still. Diora batted her lashes,heaven knows she was hardly breathing that moment,until he broke the silence.

“Gorgeous” he muttered.

Diora blinked and opened her mouth to talk,but couldn’t. Her cheeks already turned tomato red.

“You look, beautiful” He said again.

“Really beautiful” He added.

Diora hiccupped because of too much blushing,

To her greatest shock, he leaned closer and kissed her cheek.

She hiccupped louder.

Kyros chuckled and closed the door like he knows what he just did to her. He entered the driver’s seat and started the car.

Diora’s heart beat struggling to come back to normal.
