Kyros sighed, he was right all along. Last night, the way she wrapped the duvet around her,she was scared of being alone.
She’s scared of the dark, alone.
“You can sleep with me from now on if you want” He said.
“I can?” Diora asked, looking surprised.
“Do you want to move to my suite?”
“No. I actually love my room” She smiled.
“But I can really sleep over on bed with you from now on?” She asked again.
“Yeah” Kyros said and she smiled widely.
“You are seriously the best, then I don’t have to like summer anymore, I love being cold” she grinned.
Soon, Kyros drove in,to their destination house.
A loud gasp escaped Diora’s lips.
“It’s a lake house!! A lake house!!” She screamed.
Kyros smiled softly.
“I love lake houses, I’ve always wanted to live in one, how did you know? Just how..” She didn’t even know when she started tearing up.
“Do you love it that much?” Kyros chuckled.
“I do!” Diora screamed.
“Good” Kyros nodded and stopped the car.
Diora stepped down from the car first with amusing look on her face as she looked around,the blue lake right beside them,the fresh green grass they were standing on and the beautiful white house at the dead head and center of all.
“You..own this place?” She faced Kyros.
“Yeah”Kyros said and pressed a button so the gate closed.
“Wow, it’s so big. And beautiful…the flowers…” She ran toward them and inhaled.
“Smells so good” she muttered.
“Shall we go in? You must be hungry already” Kyros said and offered her his hand.
She smiled and held him, then they went in.
“I guess we are the only ones here” Diora said,looking around.
“Yeah, I come here whenever I want to be alone” Kyros replied and pulled off his jacket.
Diora did the same and suddenly perceived an aroma in the air.
“Can you smell that?” She asked.
“Yeah, I ordered for that just before we arrived, let’s eat first,so we can do whatever you want” Kyros said.
Diora ran to him and hugged him tightly.
“You are really the best” She said then broke the hug.
“Just that?” Kyros asked.
She smiled and gave him a sign to bend a little, which he did.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips against his own, Kyros grabbed her right away and kissed her more deeply.
He broke it first when Diora’s tummy made a hungry sound.
“Let’s eat”
Diora chuckled cutely.
He held her hand and led her toward the dinning room.
