Cassius’s blood boiled from the thought of letting Tatiana go. His eyes darkened.
“Cassius, I know what you might be thinking…” His grandfather tried to speak but Cassius’s cut in coldly.
“You once told me how you fought till the end just to be with grandma. Now you’re telling me to give up on the woman who pulled me out from the dark?” He asked, his voice cold as ice.
“Fighting them would mean endangering your love once. Your mother almost died because…” His grandfather said.
“And you asked me not to chase them. I would have burn the fucking Wallington alive. I had the plan to bud you stopped me. I’ll destroy their chain and be with her, even if it means burning down the world. You did that for grandma, then why are you stopping me”
A sigh came from the other side indicating his grandfather’s surrender. All what Cassius said was right. The Wallingtons family would always be on their way.
The only way to stop this was to destroy them. Mr. Holden, Cassius’s grandfather had once had a beef with the devil, Maximum Wallington (Tatiana’s father) before.
Maximus Wallington had always wanted to grow his empire with every chances he gets. But the Kings, one of the greatest family in the country are not joining.
This caused the accident of Cassius’s mother Aurora causing chaos. Holden King loved his family, so he asked Cassius to let the situation go, in return, the Wallingtons won’t bother them again.
And now, Cassius was married to his daughter.. Maximum Wallington would definitely come back.
“Remember your promise the day you found I and my mother. I was so mad at you for being oblivious of her existence. You promised to help me with whatever I want, I became the king of entertainment industry because of my capability. The Wallingtons would be a piece of cake. I have a plan for them. I only need your army” Cassius stated and his grandfather sighed again on the other side.
“This is the mafia world we are talking about. I know you’re one but you’re not deeply on this” The old man said.
“I’ve always been a mafia” Cassius smirked.

Tatiana stirred out gently from her sleep. Her eyes fluttered opened and met with Cassius staring down at her with a smile.
“Good morning wife” he greeted and kissed her gently.
“Good morning, how long have you been staring at me?” She asked and he tucked her loose hair behind her ear.
“A long while. You snore a lot” he said and her smile dropped.
“Liar.. take that back” her nose flared up. She looked cute.
“Nope”
“Cash! I don’t snore” she sat up. Her cheek puffed.
“You do” he let out a soft laugh.
Tatiana grabbed the pillow and hit his head. “Take it back” he poked his tongue at her. When she made to hit him again, Cassius took the pillow from her and threw it one side.
He slammed his lips on her, shoving his tongue into her mouth and rolled it with hers. His hand roamed over her body and she moaned.
“Get prepared for tonight” he whispered, placing a gentle kiss on her neck.
“For what?”
“A welcome party” he responded, pulling her up nightgown.
In the next moment, Tatiana’s moan rented the room as Cassius buried his face in between her legs.

Jolene was still on her nightwear when she heard her doorbell rang. Her father had already leave for work so she went to get the door herself.
She froze at the sight of the familiar figure.
“Mr…. Jaxon?” She stuttered.
Jaxon pulled down his mask and smile. When she remain at the entrance, blinking at him, he asked. “Are you going to let me in?”
“Oh… Yeah.. yeah” she nodded and left the door opened for him.
She watched him scrutinized her small apartment.
“You should move out” he suddenly said and faced her.
“Tatie said the same thing many times but I don’t take advantage of people. It’s my decision to stay here” she said, her voice barely audible.
“Hm” he stepped forward, his height looming over her. She was like a fragile cat staring at a huge beast. Jaxon was built, almost as Cassius, and that made him freaking hot!
“You haven’t seen me in weeks. You didn’t text or call”
Jolene blinked once. “Should I have?”
“Yes.. a big yes. I was busy but you should have text or called at least” he sounded a bit upset.
Jolene bit her lips. Though, Jolene found his reason for being upset strange but she still should have called. He had saved her and her father.
“I’m sorry. I was pretty busy too. Thank you Mr. Jaxon…”
“Jaxon. Just call me Jaxon”
“Jaxon. Thank you for the other day” she called softly and a small smile crept his face. Jolene observed him closely. “You look tired”
“Yeah, I was just returning from Berlin”
Jolene eyes went wide. “You haven’t gotten home?”
“Hm” he dew leaned onto her, his face inches from hers. “I wanted to see your cute face first”
“Cute face?” Jolene mused as her face turned bright red.
“Yeah. Remember you owe me, cutie” he said and Jolene swallowed at his amazing cologne that hit her nose.
“Yes” she managed to speak. She noticed his eyes moved down to her lips and back to her. His eyes locked with hers and she got mesmerized by its beauty.
“I want to kiss you, can I?” He asked.
Jolene felt like a lightening just struck her. Her heart skipped a beat and her temperature rose. A kiss? Did she hear him right? He wanted to kiss her?
Jolene had never been with male before. She had never been into a relationship. Some men had approached her but she ignored and rejected them all. For her recent years, she had been focusing on helping Tatiana winning her war.
“It’s fine if you say no”
“Uhm….” Her eyes fixed on his. This man, Jaxon Miller was incredibly handsome. He was many woman’s dream. Why in the world does he want to kiss her of all people? Maybe he was teasing her.
She was way below his league.
Jaxon swiftly pecked her cheek instead.
“See you at the welcome event cutie” he smiled a little and left the apartment.
Jolene stayed frozen, not moving an inch. Her heart sounded like a drum in her ear, her skin tingling. His words and actions replayed in her head and she swallowed.
Not only did he asked for a kiss, he pecked her.
‘Is Jaxon into me?’ that question sounded like an impossible question. Was this a dream? Her heart was about to burst.
However, Jaxon approached the car waiting for him and ruffled his hair gently.
He couldn’t believe he asked for a kiss. Wasn’t that too straightforward?
He got into his car and smiled. Her reaction was just too cute.
He can’t wait to see her at the event. He started his car and drove to meet Aurora.

Tatiana stared at her reflecting on the mirror. Excitement blanketed her face and at the same time nervousness.
Will the new brothers and sisters like her? Tatiana had once signed with a company years ago and she had to deal with a lot of schemes plotted by rivals.
If she was to compared herself back in years and herself now, she was ruthless then, than now. She became soft after she fell into the deceitful arms of Nathan.
Tatiana felt his strong arms circled her waist. His face at the crook of her neck.
“You’re beautiful” Cassius whispered.
Trauma eyes met with his. “Are they going to like me?”
“Why are you so nervous?” He asked lightly and held her cheek. “You’re their queen”
Tatiana smiled and nodded. Still, she couldn’t shake the weird feeling building up in her. Was it because of the event? Or because something was coming?

The Kings hall was filled with numerous artists clad in their different attire. They all had a cheerful smile on their face. Musicians, Actors, models, Directors, Producers and so on talked to each other.
“Dee, Cash will be here soon…” Hudson’s words were cut short as Indigo claimed his lips. He forgot his remaining words and kissed her back and hard, gently pinning her against the wall.
Indigo reached for his hand and placed them on her back side.
“Dee” he whispered.
“Shh” Indigo bit down his lower lip and whispered. “Just a little play won’t hurt”
Hudson kissed her passionately, his hand groping her ass and she moan.
“Oh Huds”
Jaxon was seated around the corner with other female artists who kept trying to gain his attention. His eyes was fixed on the entrance. She was yet to arrive.
He grab a cup of wine, drank out of it and left the hall to make a call.
It was his grandfather.
After hearing all what Cassius planned to do, his face dropped.

Tatiana finally appeared by the entrance with Jolene. She was nervous inside but didn’t show it.
“Wow,” Jolene whispered beside her.
Tatiana smiled and stepped further into the hall. All the artists eyes was on her, none of of them moving an inch.
Hudson, Indigo and Jaxon was nowhere in sight. Cassius planned to arrive minutes after her.
One of them suddenly stood up.
“To our new sister, Tatiana Karen!” He exclamed. Smile flashed on the others face. They took they glass of drink raised it up too.
“To our new sister, Tatiana Karen!” They all chorused and Tatiana let out a breath of relief. She felt waves of joy washing over her.
“Cool” Jolene grinned and squealed excitedly. She then spot Jaxon stepping back into the hall. Their eyes met and he winked. She immediately avert gaze.
‘shit, what is wrong with me?!’ she scolded herself inwardly and looked back at him again. This time a female artist went to offer him a drink, they began to discuss.
“Welcome” One of the male musician approached Tatiana.
Tatiana recognized him, the famous musician Brandon have won many award. He was the one who stood and greeted Tatiana.
“Thanks for what you did back there” Tatiana responded.
“It’s my pleasure. Come have a seat” he offered and Tatiana nodded.
As Cassius stepped in, all the artists stood to acknowledge his presence. Of course many did not expect to see him here. They were shocked.
Cassius had never attend to welcome celebrations. None of them knew, he was here to welcome his wife.
Each of them held deep respect for him. The man that had led them well over the years and helped them fight every obstacles.
If they ask what company to chose in their next life. They’ll choose the King’s entertainment company a million times.
Jaxon had an unreadable look as he stared at Cassius.
“I have something to play for you. It’s a welcome gift” Brandon said to Tatiana and went on stage.
“It seems he’s into you” Jolene whispered, but Tatiana gaze was on Cassius the whole time. Something felt wrong, Cassius looks troubled even though he was trying so hard to hide it.
Was it his mother?
Aurora was nice towards her and Dylan but that doesn’t mean she was approved. Especially because from the family she came from. The family that had hurt her.
Jolene eyes went to Jaxon. He was sitting with the female artist, his gaze on the stage where Brandon prepared to play.
She noticed the female artist touching his hair and couldn’t help but swallowed. Why does her heart felt hurt by the sight of it?
Jaxon held the female artist hand, getting annoyed by it.
“Stop doing that”
“Doing what? Touching your hair? You told me you like it” the lady with Jaxon frowned.
“I did but now I don’t.. so quit doing it” he said.
The lady scoffed. “Do you have a girlfriend?”
Jaxon sighed and rolled his tongue in his mouth. “What if I do?”
“I can’t believe you” she frowned. “I guess I don’t have a chance. I thought you’ll actually have eyes for me. I wonder what kind of woman stole your heart. Is she pretty as me?” She raised her brow.
Jaxon smirked. “She is darn cute”
The lady nodded. “What a lucky girl” she stood and left for another seat.
Jaxon shifted his gaze to Jolene whose gaze was on the stage. “She doesn’t even like me. Jaxon Miller chasing woman. How interesting”
“This song special for Tatiana Karen” Brandon announced and everyone in the hall focused on him.
He smiled and winked at Tatiana.
Cassius who noticed this frowned. ‘The hell did he just do?’
Tatiana pressed her lips together.
Brandon began singing, his melodious voice echoed through the large hall. His hand moved on his guitar professionally. It was indeed a welcome song. The lyrics indicate the love bond and how they supports each other in the company.
Tatiana smiled at some funny lyrics.
Some of the artist weaved their body to tune. No wonder this guy was really popular. This voice hits every notes perfectly.
As Brandon ended the song, they all clapped and cheered for him. He bowed and left the stage.
“Come join us Tatiana” One of the female artist called out. One even took her and led her to the place.
“Hi” Tatiana greeted nervously.
“Geez, you’re even more beautiful in real life. I watched your movie and it was a hit” The lady on her right said.
“Yeah, my daughter won’t stop watching it. It’s her favourite” the lady on her left said. She was beautiful and young.
“Thanks. Wow you have a daughter” Tatiana smiled.
“Yeah, I have a child just like you and I keep my relationship as a secret, though not from my brothers and sisters” she replied.
“Whatever happens in the Kings stays in the Kings” another said.
“Oh”
The one on the left lean. “Who’s the father. I’m curious”
Tatiana lips parted but no words came out.
“Guys don’t force her” Brandon interfered.
They began to discuss some other things. Brandon made the table cheerful and bright with his joke.
Slow elegant music sounded across the hall. Some of the artist began to dance to the tune, picking a partner.
Tatiana eyes went to Cassius, he was nowhere to be found. He left his seat. Tatiana looked around and found no sign of him. She checked her phone and saw no message from him.
She wanted to stand search for him when Brandon offered.
“May I have a dance with you, sister?” He asked politely.
Tatiana mouth opened. She was unsure to reject him or not.
“Please” he added, making it hard for her to decide.
A hand swiftly reached for Tatiana’s waist. Her eyes wide widened in shock. Not just because of the way he grab her waist Possessively in front of everyone but because of the words that fell out of his lips next.
“She’s with me, go find yours” his deep authority voice sounded across the hall.
Brandon litterly froze like a status, same as others. Even the music slowly stopped. Jaw dropped.
Cassius had never shown this side to anyone, even to Indigo, when he was still engaged to her.
Jaxon chuckled at the scene. ‘Jealous punk’ he thought.
Cassius shocked them further as he turned to Tatiana.
“Rebel, are trying to make your husband jealous?”
Tatiana’s face turned red. Her eyes dart at the shock on others face and back at Cassius. She saw his lips curled up.
‘Don’t tell me, he is planning to….’
Her thought was cut short, when the man pulled her waist closer. His hand held her face gently and he slammed his lips on hers….
