The competition start immediately, a lot of people watch as Emily and Adelaide work together some parents are envy because they are the only one doing it while their kid watch, with the way Emily pick the right ingredients without Adelaide telling her, it’s shows that she has been doing it at home. It was a shock because who will believe the Everest’s granddaughter know anything about cooking.
The reporter came closer and watched as Emily missed the batter together, it was as if Adelaide was her instructor because she was the one doing it herself.
“Go baby girl” Noah and Stanley shouted and people around looked at them weirdly but they didn’t care.
Emily started cutting the cookies into different shapes, Adelaide help out so that their time will not run out, then the cake was put inside oven, they high five and wait till is will be done, They can see some parents making mess with the batter, some are even watery, they have to pour it and start over again. Soon it was brought out. Since they still had a few minutes to go, they arranged the cookies and presented it in a beautiful way by decorating it. They were taken to the judges who were already on their seats. They tasted all the cookies and whispered among each other. One of the cookies submitted was very burnt and looked black, the judges didn’t even taste it before disqualifying them. Some parents were shocked that Adelaide and Emily were not disqualified.
The people that are saved smile in relief and start preparing for their next food which is pizza, they are given just an hour to make it which is a short period but that wasn’t a problem for Adelaide. They plan to make chicken Pizza, Emily know the bread recipes to she start putting it in the mixing matching while Adelaide focus on the pizza base, she cut all the veggies in a fast pace that the reporters that was recording them has his mouth wide open, Noah was smiling proudly from where he was sitting same with Stanley.
Before an hour the pizza was ready, Adelaide cut them and put them and then they went to the judges, some parents are still battling with their own when the time pass so they are disqualified, some made rubbish and called it pizza, about six people were eliminated from the round so the remaining thirteen people move to the next round which was ice cream.
The ice cream was very easy and they were given only twenty minutes to round it up. Adelaide made different flavors and it was top notch. The judges were really surprised because of how good her food always came out. It was only one person that was eliminated from the game and the daughter looked really sad. They were given a thirty minute break before the next competition started.
Now the parents realize Adelaide is not what they expected, they know they had to put more effort.
“See your bow fell” Emily said and give a girl her bow, they are the same age.
“Thanks” the girl said and collected it gently.
“I don’t think you are from this school, I haven’t seen you before “ Emily said.
“Yeah that’s true, I am…..” the girl stopped when she met the glare of a woman.
“What is your name, I am Emily, “ she said.
“Bye” the girl said and left, Emily watched as she went to meet the woman, the woman dragged her hair, though no one noticed, Emily could notice it.
“Why is she doing that to her” she thought and went back to Emily.
“I see you have a new friend already “ Adelaide smiled.
“I don’t know, I don’t even know her name “ Emily said and looked toward the girl, the girl was also looking at her.

Autumn heard a light groan coming from the hospital bed so my eyes opened quickly. She smiled when she saw Francisco. He was trying to stand up and was groaning because of the pain he was feeling.
“Relax, you shouldn’t stress yourself, that will be dangerous “ Autumn said and pushed him slightly, he looked at her and smiled.
“What???” She asked with raised eyebrows.
“Nothing, you are just pretty, I don’t know why I am just noticing that” he said.
“You shouldn’t say all this with your position “ Autumn said.
“Nothing is wrong with me, so you haven’t answered my question,” he said.
“What question?” She asked gently.
“I said I like you,” he said.
“I like you too, so much,” she said. He pulled her closer and they lip touched, they started kissing slowly, Autumn could feel the butterfly in her tummy, it’s like she is all over the world, this still felt like a dream to him. They broke the kiss and stared at each other in the eyes.
“You are so pretty,” he said and touched her cheek.
“You are the most handsome boy ever, I love your tattoo and everything about you “ she said.
“i want to go home” he said and tried to stand up but she quickly stopped him.
“What is wrong with you?” she yelled.
“I don’t want to stay here anymore, tell the doctor to discharge me” Francisco told the nurse that just came in due to their noise. The nurse nodded and left. Francisco dragged Autumn closer and kissed her lips gently.
“I know you are worried about it but I am okay, didn’t you know I am a very strong man?” He asked.
“Am just worried, Dalton dropped the clothes for me right?” he asked.
“How did you know?” She asked in surprise.
“Because I know he will, as you can see my legs and arm are broken so you will have to help me to change my clothes” he said with a smirk.
Autumn close her eyes and started losing his button.
“Come on, look at me” he urged her, she opened one of her eyes but quickly closed it back when she saw his chest.
“You are such a baby, how are we going to make out, if you can’t look at me?” He asked and she blushed seriously.
“You are so spoiled,” she mutters and removes his shirt.
“You will be the only girl to see this side of me, I am promising you that, I think you will do something for me” he said seriously.
She wears the shirt for him and helps him to take his trousers off, then she wears the other one for him. He was smiling broadly while looking at her face.
Delaney was at the door watching them, she actually heard about the accident and decided to see him, with the way they are behaving, the occasional kiss and all, she doesn’t need anybody to tell her that something was going on between them. She regretted not seeing Francisco all this while, the guys had been trying everything possible to get her attention but she was all over Dalton who didn’t like her. She looked at them for the last time before going, she met their friends outside, it was obvious they were coming to greet Francisco, she wanted to hide but Parker saw her and came to meet her while others entered the hospital.
“What are you doing here, your face looks pale too, are you okay?” He asked and touched her forehead, she was startled by that gesture.
“I am okay, I have warned you not to touch me without my permission” she said.
“And I have told you, none of your rules work with me Delaney Everest, I can touch you if I wanted to” he said and grab her waist, he then dragged her closer, her head hit his hard chest, her eyes widen, no man have ever try that with her before, she was flustered.
“Are you blushing?” He asked.
“Get off,” she said and ran away.
“She is really a drama queen” he chuckled before entering the hospital.

Mrs Everest stormed into her husband’s office, she was looking so angry that he had to stop what he was doing to look at her.
“What is wrong with you?” He asked gently.
“When I always tell you about that daughter in-law of yours, you won’t believe me, if you see what she is doing right now, she is tarnishing the image of the family, she is a gold digger, “ Mrs Everest said.
“What did she do this time?” Mr Everest asked, he was tired of the conversation before it even started.
“Look at her, she enter a cooking competition with Emily, she didn’t even tell any of us, she did it because of two million dollars, that is the winner price, so shameful and downgrading” she said, she was showing the video of how Emily and Adelaide is cooking, that is the most trending news online right now, a lot of people were watching. Mr Everest watched with a smile on his face especially when he saw Noah and Stanley cheering them on.
“Why didn’t they tell me about this, I wish they would have told me,” Mr Everest said and returned her phone to her.
“Is that all you have to say?” Mrs Everest asked.
“Yeah, I wish I knew, I would have been in the front seat with Noah and cheer them on, what you don’t understand is that, everything is not about money, she is doing this because of Emily, didn’t you see how happy Emily is, this won’t tarnish my image but instead, it will give me respect everywhere I go” Mr Everest said.
“Why did I even come to you in the first place?” Mrs Everest scoffed and left.
Mr Everest brought out his phone and started watching it, he can see the way they are doing things together.
“I am rooting for you both” he smiled and continued watching.

Finally it was the final round, there were just three people remaining. Emily smiled when she saw the girl but the girl just looked away. The woman beside the girl glared at Emily and she quickly looked away. The final competition is any rice meal. Adelaide smiles when she remembers one food that their cook always cooked for them when her parents were still alive. The woman is from Nigeria and she cooks very delicious food for them. She learns how to cook it because she likes it so much. The food is Nigerian Jollof Rice.
She started preparing it while people look at her, the reporters are beside her watching what she was doing, she present it in a beautiful way, she make look very attractive, she cover it and was waiting for the time but she suddenly feel nauseous maybe because of the stress or Maybe the smell of food, she ran out of the hall immediately.
“Mummy” Emily called and ran after her, Noah too ran after her, he was so worried.
He patted her back as she vomited in the toilet, she finally calmed down after some minutes and they went back to the hall. The time has reached and the other two have already submitted their food. She apologized before bringing the food to the table. The judges have a taste and they all love shock.
“Are you the one that cooks this food?” One of them asked, they can’t just believe it.
“Yeah” Adelaide said in confusion.
“It’s so salty, why?” Another judge asked.
“Salty?” Adelaide asked and took a spoon but she spit it out, the food was so salty like salt was packed into it. She didn’t even know what to say because she was shocked, why is her food salty? She tasted it before and it was okay.
“You have eliminated Mrs Everest” one of the judges said. It was the girl that won. She was looking at Emily as the prize was presented to her. Adelaide wasn’t happy, she was so disappointed, she wanted to make Emily happy.
“But the food is not salty, it is very delicious” one of the reporters said, he was eating from the one in the pot. He carried it to the judges and they all had a taste, it tasted perfect. Some people even came out to taste from the pot, within some minutes nothing was in the pot again.
“What is going on?” One of the judges asked.
“I think someone tampered with her food,” another person said.
“It was her, when everyone was distracted, she did it” the young man said while pointing at the woman beside her.
“What are you saying darling?” The woman asked with a smile.
“Don’t call me that you are not my mother, please help me, she said she is gonna kill me if people find out” the girl said fearfully.
“Shut up b*tch” the woman said and wanted to slap her but the guard that was available arrested her. Soon the police arrived and took her away.
“Thank you so much,” the girl said. The woman had held her hostage for more than two weeks. She wanted to use the girl to win the prize.
“You are welcome, what is your name?” Emily asked.
“I am Chloe” the girl said, soon her parents arrived, they were happy to see their daughter. Adelaide and Emily win the competition but they give the price to the girl.
The news spread everywhere and people are proud of her, even Stanley and Noah.
The moment they entered their mansion Noah went on his knees, Adelaide was shocked.
“I have been planning this for a week, so I know I don’t deserve an angel like you, you change my whole life so I can’t stop thinking about our marriage, I didn’t even propose to you, like a normal human being, I wasn’t sincere with my vow too so that’s why I want us to start all over again.
“So will you marry me, Miss Adelaide Salvatore?” He asked and brought out a diamond ring, Adelaide covered her mouth in shock.
“Mum please say yes” Emily shouted excitedly.
