Some workers were with their phones already browsing the news and it was true, she is really his wife.
“Stand up now” he said seriously and all the girls stood up from the ground including Nancy who was still looking down in shame.
“I see what you are doing to her, even on her first day you pack a lot of work for her to do” I pretend I didn’t see that” Noah said.
“I saw the way you will greet me and ignore her, the way you will glare at her, I even have to beg you before you start greeting her, my whole wife” he said angrily.
“I am ……” Nancy was saying but nothing came out.
“I was watching everything you and some random girl are doing to her in the store room but chose to ignore, she didn’t tell me anything either and allow you people to bully her” Noah said.
“We are sorry” the girl chorus.
“Shut up” he yelled at them.
“I overlooked all this and act like I don’t know but then you have the gut to accuse her of stealing, so you come to my office when I am not around, you open my drawer, bring out my wedding ring and go ahead to put it in my wife ‘s bag” Noah said. The workers gasp after hearing this, they were beyond shocked.
“Look at her finger, she has the same ring on so why would she want to steal mine?” Noah yelled.
“Sir she was the one, she fed us with different lies and told us to fight” one of the ladies said, she was shivering.
“And you do, attacking a lady like you,” Noah said.
“I am so sorry sir, please don’t fire me, I don’t have anywhere to go, my family too, I don’t want them to suffer”Nancy begged on her knees.
“Throw them out” Noah yelled and the security guard started approaching them.
“Please we are sorry” the ladies yelled while kneeling in front of Adelaide, they were hoping she would save them.
“Stop, let her make the decision for them” Noah said to the guards and they are waiting to hear what Adelaide is going to say.
“Are you truly sorry?” She asked gently.
“Yeah ma’am, I regret everything I have done to you,” a lady said.
“I wish I didn’t listen to them, please forgive me,” another lady said.
“Please I won’t try it again,” another one said.
“I am so sorry ma’am” another one said.
“Ma’am I know I have overstepped my boundary but please have mercy “ Nancy begged on her knees.
“Since you guys have known that what you did is wrong, you are forgiven, but you will still be punished, you will all go to the lowest rank in your department” she said.
They all keep quiet, Nancy’s eyes widen, if she goes to the lowest rank, that means she will be an errand girl.
“If you don’t want the door open, you can leave,” Adelaide said.
“We want it, thank you ma’am” they all chorus, Noah was watching Adelaide in shock, he wasn’t expecting her to spare anyone among them.
“This will be your last warning, if any of this happens again, then you are doomed” Noah said and started going to his office.
“ Wow she is so cool”
“She is nice, I like her”
“I can’t believe she pardon them”
“She is so cute”
“I love what happened to Nancy, now she will stop acting like she is the owner of this company “ Adelaide heard a different comment as she followed her husband to the office. She went to sit down and he stared at her from his seat, he didn’t say anything and just continued staring.
“What is it?” She finally asked.
“Why did you pardon them?” He asked gently.
“Why did you ask?” She replied to him with another question.
“Because they did you really bad, if you spare the rest, I would have understood but what of Nancy, you still spray after everything she has done “ Noah said.
“I did that because she has a family she is taking care of, I won’t want anyone to suffer all because of me” she said.
“You are unbelievable, “ he said while looking at her in admiration. The girl is just different from any other girl he has met.
“Stanley bought this for you and Emily, he wanted to give it to you but you didn’t come before he left,” Noah said and dropped the package on the table.
Adelaide opened it and a gasp left her mouth, it was a beautiful pink hair band, mum and daughter were written on it.
“It’s so beautiful, thank you so much brother in-law” she said. Noah scoffed from where he was watching her.
“It’s just a hairband, why is she so happy about it?” he rolled his eyes. A thought suddenly came to his head and he smiled.

MOSTAVE COLLEGE
Some of the students are going home already since they are done for the day, Francisco and Autumn are in the car going home already. He had been in a bad mood since his encounter with Delaney, so he didn’t say anything as she drove.
She suddenly stopped in front of a place and he looked at her with raised eyebrows.
“I don’t want us to go home with that type of energy” she said and dragged out, a lot of people were there having fun with their partner, they started with shooting a target in order to win a teddy bear. Francisco was determined, seeing that Autumn couldn’t stop looking at the beautiful teddy bear, and he won it for her. She was so happy.
“Do you want your own car?” She suddenly asked.
“Nah, I don’t know how to drive,” he said.
“What? I thought your parents were selling cars?” Autumn asked.
“Yeah but I was too late to learn then,” he said.
“Then I am going to teach you, how did you see that?” She asked.
“Thanks Cat” he said and touched her cheeks.
“Should we go home?” She asked after some time.
“We still have a lot of time, let’s have fun “ he grabbed her hand and they ran around the place. They both finally sit down on a bench and she starts smiling while looking at him.
“What?” He asked with a smile.
“I’m just happy I made you smile, Mr. Fransisco” she said.
“Thanks for that Miss Autumn” he said and they both stared at each other.
“Do you want ice cream?” She asked after looking away.
“That’s for kids, you can get me alcohol instead,” he said.
“You are taking the ice cream and that’s final” she snapped before going to get two vanilla and strawberry ice for them.
“You are quite stubborn Cat” he said and collect one of the ice cream, he has a taste.
“So how is it?” She asked.
“It tastes interesting,” he said and she smiled. She started licking it at a fast pace.
“Calm down Cat, now your lip is stained” Francisco said and clean the ice cream from her lip then he put it in his mouth and lick.
“It tastes delicious” she said and she started hiccupping immediately as she heard her heartbeat.
“Are you okay, do you need water?” he asked and touched her cheeks.
“Let’s go home” she said and quickly stood up.
“I thought we were still having fun,” he said.
“I changed my mind,” she said and started walking to her car at a fast pace.
“Wait for me Cat,” he said, trying to catch up with her.
“Meet me in the car “ she said and soon he entered, she drove home in silence. Francisco kept wondering what was wrong with her.

Emily was walking through the school corridor while waiting for her driver, almost all her friends had gone and there were just a few remaining pupils. Someone suddenly hit her from the back and she turned to see the same girl that pushed her the other day.
“I think you are doing this on purpose, but I am really confused because I don’t know the reason” Emily said and the girl came closer.
“It’s true, I just hate the way you act like you are the best in the whole school” the girl said.
“What are you talking about?” Emily asked.
“I saw the way you are acting nice to all the classmates, I know they are pretending, you still have all my friends from me all because of your fake hairstyles “ the girl said.
“I didn’t know, I am so sorry “ Emily said, she too can understand what it felt like not to have a friend.
“Then stopped by their friend,” the girl said.
“I can’t, my father said it is good to have friends, they can help us” Emily said cutely.
“My nanny said, your father is a betrayal, he left his friend and married another woman” the girl suddenly said.
“Don’t you dare talk about my dad that way, there is a reason for it” Emily said angrily.
“No reason, your father is wicked and evil, that is what my nanny said “ the girl shouted and Emily hit her in the face with her lunch bag. The girl cried painfully as blood started rushing out of her nose.
“What have you done?” The teacher who was glaring at Adelaide when she visited with Noah asked.
“She started it first,” Emily said while looking at the blood dripping from the girl’s nose.
“Then you did this to her?” The teacher yelled angrily and started dragging her to the head of the school office.

“Emily did that?” Noah asked in surprise while looking at Emily but she was looking down sadly.
“She started it, she insulted my dad,” Emily said sadly.
“They were still talking and then I suddenly saw Emily hitting her with her back” the teacher suddenly said while glaring at Emily she was noticed by Adelaide.
“If you saw them, then why did you leave them till when they started fighting?”Adelaide asked her.
“I said I thought they were just talking,” the teacher snapped at her.
“Nanny, it hurts so much” the girl said,there is cotton wool in her nose.
“Sorry honey” the teacher said and took her out, she was actually the girl’s nanny.
“You really need to warn her, violence is not the result of everything, she really makes her classmates bleed,” the head of the school said.
“I will, I am so sorry for what she did” Noah apologized.
“Can you give us the girl’s parents number, we can apologize too,” Adelaide said.
“You don’t have to worry about that, I’ll get it sorted out” she said.
“Thank you so much” Adelaide said as they left.
“Why did you do it?” Noah asked the moment they got into the car.
“I am so sorry, sad, she was insulting you and that made me angry, I won’t do that again, please don’t be angry with me “ she pleaded quickly.
“I am not angry with you, do you know why I told the driver not to come and pick you up?” Noah asked.
“No,” Emily said while cleaning her tears.
“Because I have a surprise for you both” he said and drove into a big mall.
“Both of you are free to choose whatever you want,” he said and sat down. Adelaide looked at the big mall filled with different beautiful dresses and smiles. They start choosing beautiful dresses while the staff follow them, they will also go into the dressing room to check some out.
Noah follows a staff as they enter an elevator and it takes them to another section, the room was filled with expensive dresses and tuxedos.
The dresses have jewelry, a bag and heels with them.
“Like you asked for, the dresses here are the only ones in the world, you can’t find it on another person” the staff said. Noah walks around while checking the dresses out until his eyes settle on a beautiful attractive black gown.
“I think this one will do the job, I want my wife to be the center of attraction at the party tomorrow” Noah said.
“Then you have to choose the right clothes,” the staff smiled. The dress was a package and Noah also bought a tuxedo for himself, he met them already waiting for him and they went home straight after eating at a restaurant because they spend a lot of time at the mall.
