“You are looking so beautiful, sister in law” Autumn gushed while looking at Adelaide. It was Stacy that did her makeup, they are preparing for the great party.

“I know Master Noah will really thank me for this,” Stacy smiled.

“It’s online already,” Autumn said after snapping a few pictures. Comments started rushing in immediately.

“Wow she is so much prettier than Jasmin.

“Wow who did that make up”

“She is beautiful “

“Did she also have an Instagram account?”

“What is the name of the makeup artist “ different comments were coming and the likes on the post were increasing like mad.

“They want your Instagram account, do you have one?” Autumn asked.

“I did but it has been abandoned” Adelaide said.

“Don’t worry, just tell me the name, ” Autumn said. She put the name and also Stacy name too for those that have interest in makeup.

“I think soon all of us will be really popular,” Stacy said as they led Adelaide to the sitting room. Noah had a satisfied grin on his face the moment he saw her, he wasn’t expecting less.

“Make me proud kids” Mr Everest said as the security opened the car door for them, Nicholas was also watching at a corner with no expression.

THE BIG HALL

Everywhere is showing money, starting from the food, the decorations and the people present.

There are a lot of people already and the program will soon start, Noah and his wife enter the hall and like he has expected, she was the center of attention but he soon started to hate it when he saw all this hungry men looking at her like their meal, he dragged her closer to let them know she belongs to him. They found somewhere to sit and a couple came to meet them, they were smiling.

“Mr and Mrs Noah Everest” the wife called with a smile.

“Hello” Noah muttered, he doesn’t even know them.

“I know you are confused, we are Abby’s parents, the girl that got in a fight with your daughter yesterday,” the father said.

“Oh, I am so sorry about that,” Adelaide quickly said.

“You don’t have to, we understand, it was actually her Nanny fault, she has been teaching our kid all sorts of bad things “ the woman said sadly.

“Emily can’t just fight without a reason, “ Noah said.

“The nanny was actually a Fanz of jasmine, she wasn’t happy about what you did to her and that’s why she has been doing that, I think she is really sick “ the man said.

“I hope she is far away from your daughter now?” Adelaide asked worriedly.

“Yeah we actually fired her, the school also plans to fire her, now we need a new nanny for our baby which is another problem” the woman said.

“That shouldn’t be a problem, she can always follow Emily home, then the driver can bring her whenever you guys are at home,I believe they will make a great friend, “ Adelaide said.

“Wow really, my daughter in the Everest Villa“ the woman asked with a bright smile. Adelaide looks at Noah.

“Yeah she can come, she can hang out with Emily” Noah finally said.

“Thank you so much” the father smiles before they leave.

“I hope you are not angry about that?” Adelaide asked Noah.

“I am not, so just enjoy the party” Noah said.

“ Mr Noah” a voice called at the back and it was Adelaide’s father ‘s secretary. Her mood went down the moment she saw him.

“Hey,” Noah said gently.

He suddenly looks at Adelaide and he looks at but shocked as he finally recognizes her.

“Adelaide Salvatore” he called.

“So you finally recognize me” she said and he suddenly hugged her but Noah separated them.

“Didn’t know you are the owner of my dad’s company” Adelaide said.

“I search for you guys everywhere, how is Francisco now?” He asked.

“He is fine,” Adelaide said.

“So you are married to Noah?” He asked in surprise.

“Yeah” she said.

“I actually want to tell you something important, I will come to your office” Noah said.

“okay then, Enjoy yourself” he said awkwardly before leaving, she was watching his back suspiciously till he was out 9f sight.

He brings out his phone and dial a number, the person picks it up some time later.

“I thought you said you get rid of the girl and his brother, why am I seeing her as Noah bride?” He demanded angrily.

“I just spare them since they left the state, I don’t know they are back. I am sorry sir” the person apologized.

“I don’t care about that, I want you to get rid of them because I don’t want any problem “ he snapped before hanging up then returning to the party.

Some popular artists were performing and they were all watching them with interest. Noah brought wine for Adelaide, it was different from the one that the others were drinking on the table and she actually wished to take it too but didn’t ask him. A lot of people were looking at them which made her realize how important and popular Noah Everest is, but the worst were those men who were looking at her with lust, which made her skin itch in disgust. Noah can notice too and he wanted to prove a point, he removed his jacket and wore it for them. The activities have started and a lot of people have started receiving their award, Adelaide was feeling bored, the party wasn’t what she was expecting. Jasmine soon came in with a popular male artist, it’s obvious she just brought the guy for cover because her eyes were focused on Noah. She was trying everything possible to get his attention but he wasn’t even looking at her and that made her angry, her eyes met with Adelaide and they glared at each other.

“Sl*t” she mouth.

“Is that your mother’s name?” Adelaide mouth back.

“This is a surprise visit” Mr Everest said as Nicholas entered his office, he went to sit down in front of his dad.

“I actually wanted to tell you something,” he said.

“I know, you can’t just come here to greet me” Mr Everest said and Nicholas rolled his eyes.

“I heard that Noah had no secretary?” Nicholas asked.

“Woah, news travels so fast, so why are you asking me?” Mr Everest asked.

“I want to be his new secretary, “ Nicholas said seriously.

“Why, I have been begging you to take the same position for years but you refuse, what changed your mind?” Mr Everest asked.

“Let’s say, I wanted to start working with my brother, wouldn’t that help the company a lot?” Nicholas asked.

“I hope that is the only reason?” Mr Everest asked with raised eyebrows.

“Yeah of course, so can I ?” Nicholas asked.

“You can but if you disrespect your brother in any way, I will give him permission to fire you,” Mr Everest said.

“Whatever” Nicholas said and went out, he got to his door and met Stacy pacing around with something in her hand, he sighed before walking closer. She beams when she sees him.

“What do you want?” He asked, he just doesn’t want her to have a problem at the moment.

“I brought this for you, I realized you haven’t eaten anything this evening and it’s already late” she said and pointed the box at him.

“Take it away, I don’t want to,” he said and wanted to open the door but she stood in front and rested her back on the door.

“I came back from school tired, but I still made this for you, will you let it go to waste?” She asked cutely and bash her lashes.

“Did I send you, what are you even saying? “ he scoffed.

“Please master Nicholas “ she said again. He stared at her face and scoffed before snatching it from her, he entered his room and he was about to close the door when she suddenly entered too.

“What again?” He asked frustratedly.

“My mind said you won’t eat it, so I will watch you till you finish it” she said and sat on his couch.

“You have a serious problem” he scoffed before opening the package, it was chocolate cookies.

“Mistress Adelaide, help with making it , I hope you like it” she said and smiled as he started chewing it. He smiled with the thought that it was Adelaide that prepared it, Stacy was also smiling thinking she was happy because she made it for him.

Adelaide was almost taking the wine when their name was called at the stage as the most dressed couple, they have been collecting different awards and she is still curious about the wine taste, they went to receive the award and went back to their seat, they met a couple sitting already.

“Mr Everest, I have always dreamt of meeting you” the male voice said and Adelaide can recognize the voice already. She stares at the man and his fiancee and the smile on her face suddenly disappears.

“Adelaide” Derek called in shock ( Note: so I realized Adelaide’s ex boyfriend name is Dalton, and I use the same name for Fransisco friend, so I changed Adelaide’s ex boyfriend name to Derek).

“Do you know each other?” Noah asked curiously.

“No” Adelaide said

“Yeah” Derek said at the same time.

“I don’t think I know you, maybe you mistake me for another person” Adelaide denied.

“Oh okay sir” Derek smiled but she was sure the girl he saw was Adelaide, he stood and he left with his girlfriend. Adelaide watched his back sadly before looking away. The reporters around called Noah and Jasmine for a private interview which made Adelaide to be alone. She sat sadly on her seat.

“So what really happened between you two, I can still remember your love is still going great a few months ago” a reporter asked.

“That is a private question, can you ask another thing?” Noah asked.

“Oh okay, so how do you feel winning the most awards for today?” the reporter asked.

“I feel normal, it’s not my first time anyway” he said proudly. Jasmine bites her lip, she has called the reporters so that she can be close to Noah but he wasn’t even looking at her.

Adelaide was curiously carried the wine that she has been thinking and suddenly drink it, her eyes widen when she realizes it is alcohol but she didn’t stopped drinking it , she filled another bottle and drink very quickly and before she could know she started feeling dizzy because of the alcohol, a man sat beside her, he was part of those that have been looking at her lustfully.

“Hey pretty,” he said with a creepy smile.

“Why didn’t you want to talk about it?” Jasmin asked as he followed Noah out of the place.

“What is it to talk about, just stay away from me and my marriage Jasmin” Noah said..

“Wow look at your wife flirting with another man already “ Jasmine said and Noah looks at the man that has started touching her cheeks but he can’t see Adelaide pushing his hand away. He walked at a fast pace and sent a kick to the guy’s face, he fell down with a bleeding nose.

“Jerk” he muttered and carried Adelaide who was grumbling, it was the staff that carried his award as they followed him, he dropped her the car before entering the driver seat, he started driving. He was still angry that a guy was touching her.

“Big mouse, why is your face like that?” She asked with a cute pout.

“It’s all your fault “ he scoffed.

“Really, I don’t want you to be angry, it made you look like an evil big mouse” she said and he just scoffed again.

“Big mouse” she called gently and he found himself answering her.

“Yeah” he said.

“I like it when you do that to me that night” she said.

“Did what?” He asked curiously.

“When we kiss, not the other one, that hurts,” she said.

“Don’t be silly” he said and came out of his car since they are in the mansion already, he opened her side and bent down to carry her but she suddenly dragged him down and he fell on her , their lips met in a deep hot kiss.

“I love this” she said and deepened the girl, Noah was in deep shock.
