Nora and Charles noticed their plan failed because Alex didn’t pick offense
📞”What do we do now, he is not moved by it”. Nora said on the phone with Charles
📞”We can’t give up, we will keep trying”.
📞”You should try harder”.
📞”Sure, how is my baby kicking?”. he asked and Nora blushed.
📞”Fine”.
📞 “I miss you guys so much”.
📞” We too, anyway I will talk to you later, love you”. She hung up.

Nina and Aurora were having their lunch at the canteen
“I was mainly to ask you”. Nina said as she gulped her water.” Is your ex-boyfriend a friend to the boss’s fiancee or a family member”. She asked and Aurora stared confusedly at her.
“How do you mean?”.
” I don’t know, are they?”.
“No, why do you ask?”.
” Because I saw the two of them two nights ago at a restaurant”.
“Really?”.
” Yes”.
“Charles that I know of never kept female friends or has a sibling”. Aurora said.
” Maybe they are related…. or not”. Nina said and Aurora stared at her surprisedly.
“How do you mean?”.
” The position I saw the two of them that night wasn’t related to friendship or sibling’s things, it looks like there is more to it”.
“You think so?”.
” I definitely know so”.She bit from her apple and Aurora sighed.
During the day, Aurora was walking home when she caught sight of Charles waiting for her along the road to her house, she ignored him and turned to leave, but he rushed to stop her.
“Charles please not now, will you stop bugging me”.
” I can’t, I still need your forgiveness and I am sorry for kissing you the other night, am sorry”.
“I don’t need your stupid apology, I guess you are hiding one of your investigators to take photos of us somewhere “. She said and Charles pretended like he knew nothing.
” Investigator? How do you mean?”.
“Please stay away from me, don’t make me fire a complaint to the cops for stalking me”.
” Aurora–“.
“Leave Charles!”. She yelled and Charles pushed back a little and then his cell phone rang, he glanced through it and Aurora took a beep of the caller ID and saw love written on it. ” Excuse me”. She walks away and Charles sighs staring after her as his phone continues vibrating
📞”What?”.he said angrily as he picked up the phone.
📞”Did you just yell at me? What is wrong with you?”. Nora retorted.
📞”Am sorry, you just ruined my chances with Aurora right now, I was with her while you were calling”.
📞”Does that give you the right to yell at me? You know what, go to hell!”. She hung up before Charles could say anything.
“F!ck!”. He grunts angrily and walks away.
Meanwhile, Aurora hid in one corner listening to his conversation on the phone.
” Who was he talking to? Was it Nora? Could Nina be right about what she said earlier at the office?”. She sighed confusedly and walked away

The next day, Aurora and Nina were in the office chatting
“Did you see the two of them together?”. Nina asked after Aurora told her about the conversation she heard from Charles while talking on the phone with someone.
” No, I told you he came to stalk me when his cell phone rang, I only take a beep of the caller ID which says ‘LOVE’ and the last number ends with a triple three and I know that number doesn’t belong to his mother”. Aurora said.
“This means my suspicions were right”. Nina
” But we don’t have enough proof if the number belongs to Nora or probably someone else”.
“I don’t think so, if truly your ex has a lover, while is he still stalking you and wanting you back, I guess he has a motive “. Nina said and they went quiet for a while. ” How about this, get access to Alex’s phone to check if Nora’s number corresponds to the one you saw on your ex’s phone”.
“Yeah, but I don’t know how to do that”.
” Excuse you! You can ask him to give you his phone for a second to check something online that your data ran out”.
“That’s a good idea, but how do I know the name he uses to save her name”.
” Nora I guess, you will know by the last number if truly she is the one”. Nina said and Aurora sighed staring into space.
Some hours later, after the meeting with the staff, Aurora left for the office with Alex and she placed the files on the table.
“Is there anything else you want me to do?”. She asked and Alex rolled his head.” okay”. She turned to leave and then stopped and turned to him.”Can I borrow your phone for a minute”.
“Yeah, sure”. Alex said and gave it to her without hesitation.
” Thank you”. She tapped on the phone and noticed it was locked. “Is locked, can you open it?”.
” Sure, the password is your date of birth”. He said and Aurora stared confusedly at him.
“Huh?”.
” Yeah, that’s my password, you can see for yourself”. He said smiling at her. Aurora hesitated for a while and tapped on the date of her birth on the phone and it unlocked, she was surprised.
“How did you know my birth date?”.
” Remember, I am the boss and I have every one of my employee files with me”.
“Oh, I see”. She blushed and Alex smiled at her and then continued what he was doing. “ok, let’s see”. She said to herself and went through the search contact of the phone and typed Nora’s name, but it didn’t appear on the screen. She thinks for a while and then types the letter ‘W’ and a name appears as ‘WIFEY’ and she notices it is her number, she gaped.
“Is everything okay?” He asked as he heard her gasp.
“Yes, everything is fine “. she smiles forcedly at him.
” Are you sure?”
“Yes”.
” Okay, take your time”.he resumed what he was doing and Aurora sighed in relief and then blushed smiling secretly to herself.
She continued the search and typed different names but none appeared to be Nora’s number, she decided to search through his messages, she scrolled down and a number caught her attention with no name. She saw the number ended with a triple three and the message written was that of Nora asking Alex for a second chance for her and their child. She was surprised as her suspicions were right.
“They are dating? “. She asked herself confusedly, she sighed and gave the phone to him.”Thanks, am done with it”.
“Okay”.
” Thanks again”. She takes a step to leave, but she stops as she walks up to where Alex is sitting, she lifts his chin to her face, and before Alex can understand what is happening, she locks lips with him softly, after a while she pulls away from him and rushed out. Alex stared after her confusedly as he let out a smile before returning to his work.
Later at Nina’s house, Aurora came to sleep over, they sat down on the bed eating chips while chatting.
“This whole thing is confusing”. Nina said.
” Same here, but why will Charles be having an affair with Nora when he knows she is engaged and also pregnant”. Aurora said.
“Yeah, something is fishy and we need to find out”.
“But how? hired a private investigator on them?”.
” Yeah, that’s the only way to know the truth behind this suspense”.
“Yeah, but how do we find a good one”.
” Leave that to me”. Nina said.
“You know who can help?”.
” Yes, I had a friend back then in school, he is a private investigator and he is really good at it”.
“Okay, is he outside the state or here?”.
” I will call to confirm with him, we can meet with him this weekend, even if he is far away, he will definitely want to help “. Nina said.
” Okay”.
They went quiet for a while enjoying their chips and then Aurora started smiling secretly to herself as the memory of what she saw on Alex’s phone reflected in her brain.
“Are you okay? Why are you smiling all to yourself?”. Nina asked.
” Nothing”. she blushed.
“Really? Then why are your cheeks red”.
” Nothing, I just remembered something”.
“Like what?”.
” I won’t tell, is a secret”. She smiled and Nina rolled her eyes at her.
“Fine! You can keep it all to yourself, but I will still know about it”. She said and her phone beeped with an incoming message, she glanced through it.
💬” Hi”. The unknown person wrote and she wondered who the message was from.
💬”Hello, sorry who is this, please”. She type.
💬”Is me Richard”. He typed and Nina screamed covering her mouth in surprise and Aurora stared confusedly at her.
“What’s wrong? Why did you scream like that?”. she asked curiously.
” H-he”. She sputtered.
“What?!.”
“He”. She became speechless and the phone started ringing and she panicked in excitement as she noticed it was the number calling, she picked it up quickly trying to hide her emotions.” Hello?”.
📞”Hey Nina”. Richard said from the other end.
📞”Good evening Mr. Richard”.She sputtered and Aurora finally understood what she was trying to say.
📞” Mr.? I thought we agreed on ‘Richard'”.
📞”Am sorry, it just slips off my tongue”.
📞”Is okay, I know you are wondering how I got your contact, I actually got it from your friend, Aurora”. He said.
📞”Oh really?”She smiled at Aurora and Aurora rolled her eyes at her.
📞”Hope you don’t mind?”.
📞”No, no, no, not at all, am glad you call”.
📞”Sure, I wanted to ask if you will be available for this weekend for a hangout”.
📞”Yes, yes, I will”. She said excitedly.
📞”Okay then, I will remind you before then, Good night Nina”.
📞”Good night”.She hung up and let out a scream hugging Aurora tight.”Yes!”. She pulled away from her and stood on the bed dancing and singing.”🎶I am going on a date! (x4) 🎶”. She sang and danced for a while before she sat down and hugged Aurora.”Thank you!”.
“For what”. She feigns
” You gave my prince charming my number”. She pulled away from her and dabbed at her eyes that was filled with tears.
“You are crying?”.
” These are tears of joy, am happy”. She smiled and Aurora caressed her cheek.
“You should know I always got your back, he called me this morning to ask for your contact and I didn’t hesitate to give him, because I know you will slit my throat if I deny him of it”. She said.
” Thank you, I have waited for this moment for a long time”.
“Yeah, so, did he ask you out?”.
” Yes, this weekend”.
“This weekend? But what about the private investigator we are to meet this weekend”.
” That can wait, we can meet with him next weekend, but you see this weekend, is going to be all about me and my prince charming”.
“Why didn’t you tell him, you are unavailable for this weekend”.
” Seriously! You expect me to do that? hell no! This is the best opportunity to be closer to him and I won’t miss my chances”. She said and Aurora smiled at her.
“Anyway, I am happy for you”.
” Thank you”. She hugs her.
