Alex didn’t return to the office after having a lunch date with Elizabeth. he got an urgent call from his grandfather about his mother and he rushed home.
“Mom”. He called as he moved to her on the bed to see her looking weak.
” My son”.Mrs. Stella sobs as she rushes to her son’s arms sobbing. “Am sorry son, please forgive me”.
“Is okay Mom”. They pulled away from each other and he wiped off her tears with his thumb. ” Why did you fall sick? You know I don’t like seeing you like this”.
“She never stops crying since the shocking scene at the party”. his grandfather said.
” Please son, am sorry for the trauma I put you through, I didn’t know Nora was the kind of girl”.
“I understand Mom, is not your fault”.
” I promise never to meddle in your relationship affair, I will stick to your decision, and whoever you choose to be with, I will support you, please don’t hate me or push me away”.
“Stop saying that mother, of course, I can never hate you, you are my mother”.
” I love you, son”. They hug each other tight.
“I love you too Mom”.
” Now it’s settled”. his grandfather smiled staring at them.

Aurora and Nina were having a girl’s night at the same time eating popcorn while watching their favorite movie.
“I can’t believe he didn’t return to the office, did he follow her home or rather happen to be her driver for today”. Aurora said angrily.
” Are you still pissed?”.
“Of course, I am pissed, am his wife and–“. She got interrupted
” Wait, what? His wife?”. Nina cut in confusedly and Aurora sighed. “What are you hiding Aurora?”.
” Am not hiding anything, I was actually going to tell you”. She said and Nina pushed closer to her. “Alex and I got our marriage registered and we are waiting for the certificate in six weeks”. She said and Nina wide-mouth in surprise.
” Are you serious?”. She finally spoke and Aurora nodded as she brought out her ring from her bag.
“This is our couple ring”. She said.
” Oh, my world!”. She screamed in excitement and hugged her tight. “Yes! Finally”. They pulled away from each other and tears filled her eyes.”Am so happy for you”.
“I know right”. She said as tears filled her eyes.” Why are there tears in your eyes?”.
“I don’t know, they are tears of joy”. She said.
” Mine too”. They whine and hug each other.
“Am so happy”.
“Me too”. They pulled away from each other and sniffed.” We should stop now, this is awkward”.
“Yeah, you are right”. They clear their tears and stare at each other for a while and then burst into tears.” Am sorry I can’t help it”.
“Me too”. They hug each other again.
Meanwhile, Alex was trying to connect to Aurora, but her phone wasn’t connecting, he came to her house and was told by her grandmother that she was at Nina’s house, He left for his car and phoned Richard.
📞” Are you home?”
📞”Yeah, why?”.Richard asked from the other side of the phone.
📞”Am coming over”.
📞”OK, but when coming, get some food on the way, I didn’t have the strength to prepare food”.
📞”Do I look like your errand boy, what if I hadn’t called?”.
📞”I would have ordered a take-out”.
📞”You are unbelievable”.
📞”Let the food taste good”. He hung up and Alex smirked.
Back to Aurora and Nina, both became calm and continued their discussion.
“I can’t believe this is really happening, this is an act of true love, you are so lucky to find a man like Alex”. Nina said.
“He is the most amazing man I have ever met and I love him so much, I thought he was joking when he said we should go for marriage registration, but now is all clear to me, he is actually my husband now”. She smiles.
” Yeah, and you two look good together, so, when is the official wedding? I can’t wait to be your maid of honor”.
“We are still planning, we want everything to settle first before we break the news to everyone”.
” That’s a good one, but how come I didn’t see the ring on your finger at work?”.
“Well, I took It off, is our secret”.
” I love that, and I know you will make a good wife and soon you will be living with him forever”.
“Yeah, and I can’t wait to be fully his”. She said and they smiled at each other.

After they both had dinner, Alex broke the news about his marriage to Aurora.
” Really?”.
“Yes, our certificate will be out in six weeks”. Alex said.
” Wow, congratulations man, you finally made the right choice”.
“Aurora is my life and I can’t live without her by my side”.
” Yeah, you two deserve each other, so, when are you going to tell your family about it?”.
“After the certificate is out, I will tell them”.
” That’s good, I am super happy for you”. They smile at each other.”Let’s cheer on that”. They hit their glasses and sip from the wine. “This is amazing”.

her parents were knocking on her door, but she refused to open it.
” Please nora my child, open the door, you are scary us”. her mother panicked.
“Nora, please open up”. Her father said. ” What do we do?”.
“I am scared she might hurt herself, she has been indoors since the party”. she said and then the maid came with a master key.
👤” Here is the master key.
“Thank you”. he said and used the key to open the door, they entered and were shocked to see Nora’s lifeless body on the floor, it was clear she cut her wrist with scissors.
” Nora!!”.Her mother screams and they rush to her quickly.
One of the guards enters and he helps them carry her to the car and they zoom off to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Charles was restless as he was trying to connect to Nora.
“Why is her cell phone not connecting? She should always put her phone on, I hope nothing has happened to her”. He worries and continues to dial her number.

Aurora and Nina were still having their fun when someone knocked on the door.
” Are you expecting anyone?”.Aurora asked.
“No, but let me see who it is”. She stood up and left to open the door, but she was surprised to see who it was. ” Aunt?”. She called surprisedly.
“Nina my dear”. Mrs. Bianca said and quickly grabbed her hand.” Please, Nina, forgive me, I am sorry for what I did to you”.She said sincerely. Aurora came out to see what was going on.
“Nina, who is she?”.
” She is my uncle’s wife I told you about”. She said and withdrew her hand from hers.
“Oh, I see “. Aurora said and stared hard at Bianca. ” Why are you here? Haven’t you and your monster of a husband done enough? What do you want from her?”.
“Please help me to beg her to forgive me “. She said on her knees. ” I was deceived by my husband, he made me believe that he was the victim, please forgive me”.
“Please Aunt, leave my house, seeing you reminds me of the trauma I went through at the hands of your husband, please leave!”. She said sadly.
” I know we did wrong and you have the right to hate us, but please for the sake of your parents, forgive me”. She sobs.
“I have no grudges against you and your husband, you two should leave me alone, I don’t want to see you guys around me”.
” Am sorry”.
“Nina, I think is time you let it go, look, she is really sorry, it wasn’t her fault, she was only deceived by her husband”.
” I have no grudges for her, she should leave me alone”. She sniffs.
“She will after you forgive her”. She said and Nina sighed.
” Fine”. She moves to her and helps her up “Don’t cry anymore, you have my forgiveness”.
” Really? Oh, thank you very much, I promise I will never bother you again”.
“Is okay”. They smile at each other.
” I wish you nothing but luck”.She said and left and they stared after her.
“Let’s go back inside”. Aurora said and they went inside.

Nora’s parents were pestering around the lobby waiting for the doctor’s report, and not too long after, Doctor Luke came out and they rushed to him.
” Doctor, how is my daughter?”.She asked curiously.
“She will be fine, she is lucky, the cut wasn’t deep”. He said and they sighed in relief.
” Can we see her now?”.he asked.
“Yeah, but don’t wake her up”.
” We won’t, thank you so much, doctor”.
“You are welcome, please excuse me”. He said and walked away and Nora’s parents entered the ward where Nora was.
