The Next morning, Nora opened her eyes weakly staring at the whole place.
“Where am I?”. She asked weakly as she noticed a nurse beside her on the bed injecting something on her drip.
” You are awake”. Elizabeth said.
“Where am I and who are you?”.
” Am Elizabeth and you are in the hospital, anyway welcome back from the dead”. She smirk.
“F!ck, why am I still alive, I want to die”. She said sadly.
” Oh really, I can make it easier for you”.Elizabeth grins at her and Nora turns to her.
“Are you the Angel of death?”.
” No, am your doom”. She leaned closer to her and whispered.”It was so easy to kick you off Alex’s life”. She pushed back and smiled.
“What are you talking about?”. Nora asked confusedly.
” You are so dumb!”.She groaned and sat next to her.”Well, let me make it clear to you, I was the one that exposed your tiny secret to the world”. She laughs and Nora is startled.
“Y-you?” She sputtered and Elizabeth nodded.”How? and why?”.
“It was a simple task, I don’t want you hanging around Alex anymore because it pissed me off”.
” Who the hell do you think you are!”. She yelled and Elizabeth giggled.
“You are so funny, how many times will I introduce myself”.
” You selfish b!stard, how could you? You ruin my life!”.
“Oh yes, I did”.
” Why?”. She asked as tears filled her eyes.
“It’s very simple, to have Alex to myself”.
” What? Alex?”. She asked and Elizabeth nodded and she burst into laughter.
“Why are you laughing?” Elizabeth asked confusedly.
“You are such a big fool! You really think you have won?”. She laughed and sat upright on the bed.” You actually just make it easier for the next person”.
“What next person?”. She asked curiously and Nora rolled her eyes.
” You think you are that wise, but you are foolish, let me make it clear to you, Alex was never attracted to me, it was just a forceful engagement, and with my fake pregnancy that I have to live with him, he was never into me and you wanna know why?”.She grin and lean closer to her.”His heart is deeply in love with someone else and he loves that person so much that even you can’t separate them”. She said and pushed back to see the look on Elizabeth’s face and she laughed. “Foolish whore”.
” That can’t be”. She said angrily standing up.”Alex is mine and I will do everything possible to make him mine”.
“You are only going to be wasting your time, he doesn’t belong to you”.
” Tell me who the person is and I will get her out of the way”. She said holding firm to her shoulder and Nora pushed her off.
“Get your filthy hands off me, are you crazy? Do you expect me to tell you who she was? Never! Since you happen to find out about my secret why not use the same puzzle to find out who she was”. She said.
” This will never happen, whoever that person is, I will eliminate her”.
“You are such a psychopath, you are sick”. Nora yelled and Elizabeth turned to her angrily.” I will make sure I reveal your true self to Alex, you psycho”. She threatens and Elizabeth laughs.
“Oh really, let’s see how you try”. She said and quickly injected her with sleeping pills.
” Ah! what did you do…..”She doze off
“Moron”. She looked around to see if anyone was coming, and she moved back and injected corticosteroids into her drip.”Let’s see how you will get away with this”. She smirks and then her phone rings.📞” How did it go?” There was a pause.”Good, we do it this night”. She hung up and laughed.

••Alex’s office••
Aurora was staring at Alex from her office as he was on the phone standing beside the window.
“How cruel can he be”. She frowned and turned to her computer and started working.”He didn’t even call to apologize for not coming back to the office yesterday, I guess he was out with that lady and…”. She continued talking nonstop and she didn’t know when Alex came to stand by her side.” I will make you pay for this”.
“What are you doing?”. He asked and Aurora gasped in shock.
” Gosh, you scared me”.
“Why were you talking to yourself? Who is making you angry?”. He asked.
” Can you take three meters backward”.
“Why? Does my closeness suffocate you?”.
” Yes, Mr.Alex, I can’t concentrate on what I am doing”. She said unfriendly and Alex was surprised.
“What is wrong? Why so cold toward me?”. He asked.
” Please push back”.
“I won’t, you are ditching me out”.
” Yes, I am, why not go and be with her”. She said and stood up to leave, but Alex blocked her path.
“What are you talking about? I wasn’t with anyone”.
” Really? What stories did she cook up to tell you, I can smell her fragrance all over you, you were so relaxed in her arms when she hugged you”. She quarrels and Alex smiles at her jealous mood.”What is funny?”.
“You are”. He pulled her into his arms and encircled her waist.
” Let go”. She struggles.
“I love it when you are jealous, it was just a harmless hug, no feelings attached to it”.
” Oh really? You even take her for a ride and you spend the entire day with her without returning to the office or even trying to call me”.
“That’s where you are wrong, I only take her out for lunch, that’s all and I am sorry for not coming back to the office, I got an urgent call from my grandfather and I had to rush home and I even tried calling you, your number wasn’t connecting, so, I had to go to your house and your grandmother said you were in Nina house, I didn’t want to bother you, so, I spend the night with Richard”. He explained.
” Yeah, I can only accept few of the stories, but you will be punished for allowing another woman into your arms and even taking her out for lunch”.
“Sure, I will accept the punishment you are going to give me, but please don’t make me stay away from you”. He said and Aurora pulled out from his arms.
” That will be your punishment, you are not allowed to come close to me or even try to touch me for three days”. She said and Alex was shocked.
“What? Three days?”.
” Yes, no calling or texting”.
“You can’t do that to me, a minute without you feels like a year not to talk of three days, that’s like an eternity, please give me another punishment”.
” That will be your punishment starting from this moment”. She said and walked away ignoring his calling.
“Aurora!”. He grunt.” F!ck! How am I supposed to cope for three days without touching or kissing her, geez! She is going to be the death of me, why didn’t I avoid that hug, damn you, Alex!”. He cursed and left for his office.

In a dark room, Nora opened her eyes weakly to see everywhere looking dark, she turned and noticed someone beside her on the floor with a pool of blood, fear overwhelmed her, she sat upright and noticed a knife on her hand with blood and she stares at the person lifelessly body, she looks closer and saw it was Charles, she screamed and throw the knife away.
“No, no, no, what happened? Charles?”. She panicked with tears in her eyes then the siren of a police van was heard.” Somebody help me!”. She screamed and the police officers barged into the room and pointed their guns at her.
“Don’t move! Anything you say or do will be used against you in a court of law “. The officer said, that before Nora could utter a word, they handcuffed her and took her away, while the rest office took care of the body.
Meanwhile, Nora’s parents were in panicked as the doctor informed them of their missing daughter.
” Doctor, where is my daughter?”. She asked as tears filled her eyes.
“Please, we will find her”. Doctor Luke said.
” Find her? Where? You mean to tell me, you can’t find my daughter, as big as this hospital filled with security, no one could tell where my daughter disappeared to, “.he said.
” Please calm down, we will find her”.
“Doctor, give me my daughter, I want to see my daughter”. She sobs and Luke tries to calm them down
suddenly news comes up on the TV bringing everyone’s attention to the TV. It shows a scene where Nora is being taken by the police and accused of killing her boyfriend. Her parents were shocked by the news and her mother collapsed. Elizabeth was smiling to herself as she saw what was shown on the TV. The news went viral causing everyone in great shock.
” This is unbelievable, how can she be so cruel”. Mrs. Stella said as she watched the news on TV with her father.
“Why will she kill him?”.
” This is what she would have done to my son”.
“This is wickedness”.
Aurora and Nina were in great shock about the news, Nina came over to her house.
” Something is not right”.Aurora said.
“How do you mean?”. Nina asked.
” Am just confused about why she had to kill Charles, they were looking lovingly together”.
“Maybe, they got into a fight that led to his death”. Grandma said.
” Yeah, granny is right, but even as that, she shouldn’t have killed him, now she will face the consequences”. Nina said and they sighed.
Alex was shocked about the news and he turned off the TV.
