Zinedine vibrated a little in a mockery way. “Ooooh, I’m having goosebumps already. You might have done a lot of things in your past but don’t bring it close to me because I am not like those you conquered.

And I’d like to see the stuff you are made of because fighting off someone that is not up to my powers is tiresome.” he told her. “My family might be wondering where I am so good night.” he added and went to meet Hiro who was staring at the bloody recovering vampire.

Vlad was lucky that he was a Vampire because he wouldn’t have survived Zinedine’s thunder punches. “Let’s go home son.” he told his son once he was within reach and took hold of one of Hiro’s hand and they began leaving when Adelena’s voice stopped him.

“Zinedine, this isn’t over. Tonight, you’ve crossed the line. You think you’re unstoppable but you’re not. I will kill you but before then I will make sure you beg for mercy, I will cause you so much pain mark my words.” Adelena told him in a promised threat. Her teeth weren’t moving if possible.

Zinedine gave a lopsided smile towards her direction. “I have nothing else to say to you Adelena than bring it on, I will be waiting, bye-bye.” he said and he and his son continued walking, leaving the house. Once he was inside his car he made the Vampires he had frozen in time out of the time. He drove out of the premises and headed towards the direction of his home.

Adelena screamed into the night. Zinedine has bitten more than he can chew. She was going to make him pay.

She walked over to where Vlad is and chuckled to herself. She didn’t make any mistake years ago by choosing the red-haired over the sick white-haired little boy who she thought wouldn’t last after his 6 years on earth by how wrong she was.

He had somehow survived the illness that could have killed him and now a huge pain in the ass for her. She could take him down.

“Do you now see how powerful he is?” Adelena asked. “I wasn’t capping when I told you he is strong. He buried our house.” she added ignoring her guards that were staring at her. She was just glad none of her servants were in.

Vlad groaned a little and then sat up straight.

“He is strong,” he admitted and get up to his feet. Throwing his mask away. “But like I said he is not stronger than me.”

“So will you unleash the monster in you or will you keep it locked away forever.”

“He humiliated me mother, and I will kill him myself, blood or not.” Vlad promised.

Adelena nodded her head and smiled. “The battle line has been drawn.”

The car was quiet and Zinedine looked at his son with concern. He had forgotten that Hiro is still a kid and he might find some of the fight repulsive to watch.

“Are you okay Hiro?” Zinedine asked in concern.

Hiro nodded his head.

“Hope you’re not disgusted with what happened there?”

“Disgusted? Me? Blood is my specialty, Dad. You really didn’t go full mode on him, you were holding back, I saw it, why?”

Zinedine shrugs looking at the road before answering. “He wasn’t worth my energy. I just use 1% of my energy on him.” he answered. “But still yet, I know that’s not what is on your mind right now. Spit it out Hiro, what is making you think?” He said, looking briefly at his son and focus on the road.

“I saw his face, Dad.” Hiro finally reveals what’s making him think. He had seen Vlad face after his father had gone to meet the Vampire Queen. Vlad had removed his mask to touch his face before putting it back on, probably he had forgotten about Hiro. Seeing his face made Hiro shocked and speechless.

“What about it? Does he look more handsome than me?” Zinedine teased him.

“Dad, he has the same face as you.” Hiro answered.

The loud screech from the tire was loud enough to wake up the entire neighborhood around but Zinedine didn’t care, what his son just said was ringing a bell in his head.

“What did you say Hiro?” Zinedine eyes were wide.

“Except for his red hair and eyes, he is your carbon copy Dad.”
