Alpha Romulus feigned a smile and had to look away from the young boy’s menacing eyes. He could tell that the little boy was sick upstairs. With those words, Romulus knew he might not stand a chance against him.

He might be little but the arrogance in those words was what scared him. It was as if the little boy was so sure of himself that he would defeat him just like his father had said.

“I rather not, I don’t stoop so low to fight little boys like you, Never have I and never will I.” Alpha Romulus finally said, saving his face and ignored Hiro’s smirk. He turned his gaze to Osiris. “When do you say your visitor is coming? You know we wolves need our beauty sleep unlike the blood suckers.” he added.

“I don’t know what’s delaying them.” Osiris began. “Adelena is someone who doesn’t come late so I don’t know why she is delaying this dinner,” he added.

“Call her.” Selena said. She had worn the best gown that most parts of it were made with gold, Adelena had better come.

“Her line is not going.” Osiris answered.

“I don’t think she is coming.” Zinedine said calmly.

“You don’t know Adelena like I do, she hardly misses her appointment. She will come, I just called her but her number isn’t going.”

Hiro chuckled. “Dad, should we tell him?” he asked, turning his head slightly so that he could look at his father.

“Should we?” Zinedine mused. “Let me think a bit.”

“Zinedine, did you do something?” Osiris said as he stared at his son and grandson.

“…” Before Zinedine would reply to him, he stopped and took a deep breath. “Seriously, you think I wouldn’t notice you. Okay you have been noticed now show yourself before I do that for you.” he said and rolled his eyes. “Scattering your smelling scent all around won’t stop me from locating you. It’s either we do it the simple way or the hard way and believe me, I love the hard way.”

“Who are you talking to?” Alpha Romulus asked but didn’t get any reply from Zinedine like he’d thought.

“Are we under attack?” Osiris demands.

“Yes we are, by the same one who escaped a few nights ago.” Zinedine answered.

A deep dark chuckle was heard right above them and they all tilted their heads upwards to see Elos on the ceiling. He did a backflip and came down gracefully. He ignored the others who had stood up from their seats respectively, except for Samira, and they went into their fighting stance.

“You know it was me?” Elos asked, he wasn’t that surprised.

“Yes, I know you will come back eventually but I never expected it to be today.”

“Today? Did I interrupt something?”

“Yes, I have some important questions in my mind that I want to know the answers from my lovely father but I am holding myself not to explode my anger on you. So I am going to keep it short and simple. Who sent you here?” he demanded.

Elos opened his mouth to answer but Zinedine cut him shut, by placing one of his index finger on his lips.

“Before you reply, know that if you fail to give me the correct answer you die, if you give me the correct answer you still die, the choice is yours,” he told Elos.

His blood was boiling in anger right from the moment he got down from his car but he pretended to play it cool and not ask his father questions immediately when he saw Alpha Romulus and his daughter. Now that Elos is here he has finally see someone who he is going to vent his anger on.

“Why don’t you force it out of me if you.” Elos said in a mocking way.

“The last time you came here with your ‘buddies’ you destroyed some parts of the house. I won’t allow you to do that today, I don’t need your dirty blood in this house, you smell enough.” Zinedine said and didn’t give a warning and was behind Elos, touching him on his shoulder, pinning him with one of his hands. “This time, you came with your real self, why when you know you can easily be defeated?”
