Zinedine’s eyes stopped glowing as he stared at Adelena in confusion. Wasn’t she the one who had knelt down beside their pregnant mother’s body and struck her the final blow? He wondered.
“We saw you, you were the one that gave her the final strike to her death, don’t deny it.” Vlad gritted out.
Adelena chuckled. “Vlad when you put it in that way then yes, I was the one who struck the final death strike which killed my sister but I wasn’t the one who killed her.
You see, yes I was jealous of my sister, of the power she possesses and she trying to make peace with all supernatural, example by her getting married to this nondetity,” she said pointing at Osiris. “In as much as I hated my sister I wasn’t planning to kill her, to take her throne and maybe to find a way to get powers, yes but killing her wasn’t on my mind.”
Samira snorted. “Tell that to the birds, they will believe you quickly.”
“Oh Samira, I thought that you were smart. Indeed I went to meet Moses but I changed my mind and was about to call him to cancel the plans of killing my sister and that was when I heard about his death.
Ravenna is my sister and I know I hurt her but when I heard Osiris planning with Selena here about killing her, I didn’t inform my sister.
At least her death wouldn’t come from me but it seems like it was destined, her destiny, to die in my hands. So since she was already dying and the pain she was going through was unbearable I had to put her out of her misery.” Adelena finished explaining her own side of the story.
“You are evil, I can’t believe I stayed, lived and dined with one of the people that had a hand in the death of my mother. You… witch!” Vlad pointed out.
“Hush now Vlad, you wanted it all also, you wanted what Zinedine has even when you knew he looks like you. You and I aren’t any different at all.” Adelena said with a smile which angers Vlad. “So I did everything for you.” She added.
“Shut up!” Vlad yelled. “We are not the same. You made me hate my brother, you made me want what he has but now that I have seen the truth it’s too late Adelena.”
“Vlad, I hate to break this down to you, but you belong to me. I trained you and made you who you are and-”
Vlad Interrupted her. “Yeah with my mother’s money, I can see that clearly, Adelena.”
Adelena pursed her lips and raised her brows. “At least you enjoyed the money.”
Vlad opened his mouth to talk but Selena clapping her hands stopped him.
“Wow, this is better than some movies that I watched. What would you do to her then since she betrayed you?”
“Death, painful and slow death that even death and pain will feel sorry for her. And after I am done with her I will be coming for you.” Vlad said, moving his gaze towards Selena.
“That is if you can torture her ghost.” Zinedine chips in.
“It’s funny how you both think that you can fight me.” Selena said and shook her head.
“Selena, are you scared to answer my question?” Teagan asked, opening her eyes. All these while during Adelena words and Vlad she had been communicating with Moses spirit. “You killed Moses but why?”
“It wasn’t Adelena who killed him?” Samira demanded in surprise. She had thought Adelena had a hand in the death of Moses.
“No, it wasn’t her, it was rather Selena. Why? Because Moses has seen something but his memories of that day were wiped out so you killed him.” Teagan answered and explained.
“Why did you kill him?” Samira asked Selena.
“I will tell you why? When Adelena had told Moses to kill Ravenna, unknown to her; Selena had already contacted him to kill Ravenna. But when he met Ravenna he became her friend and instead of killing her like you planned with him, he eventually fell in love with her and went to tell you that the deal to kill Ravenna is off.
He had planned to reveal everything to Ravenna but you and your witch killed him not because he wanted to quit or tell Ravenna but because he saw the face of your witch and you killed him, isn’t that right Selena?”
“Who the hell are you?” Selena demanded, her eyes narrowed.
Teagan smirked. “Your worst nightmare.”
