Zinedine carried Hiro in his arms as if he could break and kissed his forehead. He wondered how his father would react to this news.
“I am listening, Samira.”
“You remembered what I told you back in the hotel room?”
“We spoke a lot so refresh my memory sweetheart.”
Samira smiled, she loves how he is calling her pets names.
“I told you I was in trouble and I needed Hiro safe from my enemies.”
“You’ve got enemies?”
“Yes, I have got enemies, why do you sound surprised?”
“You are the type that doesn’t look for trouble, so that’s why I am surprised.” he answered sincerely then he remembered what happened in the hotel room, of course she has enemies. They didn’t come for him but her.
“A lot has changed Lucius, I’m not that weak omega you once knew.”
“You are not weak Samira, you are strong.”
“There is something about me you really need to know,” she said.
“There is nothing you will tell me that would change my love for you, even if you are the devil’s daughter.”
Samira smiled sweetly at that.
“I hope so, Lucius.” Samira took a deep breath, biting her bottom lip nervously. “Eight years ago when you met me at that party, you remember that night?”
“How could I ever forget that night Mi Tesoro, you were looking so stunning that I lost my breath.”
Loving the flattering.
“You see, that night you saw me, I was paid to come over to that party and kill Zinedine, you.”
“What?”
“Yes, I was paid a huge amount of money to kill you, I didn’t know it was you until I saw you and I couldn’t bring myself to kill you. That was why I ran away.” Samira said. “Have you heard of the name, Mr King?” She asked.
“I have heard of him, he is a ruthless killer.”
“Well, Mr King is not a he but a she.”
“And how would you know that? No one knows the identity of Mr King, he’s like a mystery.”
“That’s because I’m Mr King.”

“Come again?” Zinedine said because it seems as if he heard her say something about her being the Mr King. He didn’t hear well.
“I said I am Mr King.” Samira repeated herself as she looked at his face to see his reaction
“For real?” he asked, eyes popping open. “Please tell me you’re joking,” he added.
“I wish I was joking but I am not Lucius.” Samira said. “I am Mr King.”
“But how? Don’t get me wrong but you were fourteen when I saved you and you didn’t even know how to fight to save yourself.” Zinedine said. “So how come you became Mr King? How?” He asked.
“You are right though, I couldn’t save myself back then but not now,” Samira said and smiled a little. “You know my reputation now, right?”
“Yes, this is huge you know?”
“So you hate me now?” she asked in a tiny voice.
“No, why would I hate you? You are a badass. My badass.” Zinedine praised which earned a huge smile from her.
“You are not helpless like I thought. But how did you go from that Samira I knew back then to Mr King?” He asked in curious.
“It’s a long story.” she sighed.
“I don’t have anywhere else to be right now and I am not in a hurry so tell me.”
“Well, after I ran away from the pack I…” She trails in thoughts.
Flashback:
A fourteen year old Samira was seen walking down the empty street, a small bag; of what was left of her belongings, was hung on her shoulder as she walked. She had run away from everything and everyone she knew. It was pouring heavily on her, it was as if the rain remembered her that night, her wolf eyes had helped her to see through her surroundings. She was far away from the pack house, where the servants and omegas like her dwell all their lives.
She saw an empty chair in front of a small bungalow that was dark. With no other options left she sat down. She had no money with her and raised her legs up so that she could rest her head on it. She ignored the sound of thunder and closed her eyes. Staying out in this pouring rain is better than staying in that pack.
