Since the frequent visit of Alpha Romulus with his daughter to the pack house whenever there is a meeting or he wanted to discuss something important with Osiris, he had always made out chances to find her and abuse her, physically and sexually.

She couldn’t tell Viva what her father always does to her because who could believe a lowly omega like her?

She was shivering in the pouring rain but that’s better than going back to that pack.

She heard someone clearing throat behind her and she quickly stood up to her feet, fast like lightning speed, heart pounding, and turned around to face the intruder. She noticed a middle aged man, his hair was plastered all round his face, covering his eyes. He was a muscular man that was well built with well defined muscles but was on a slimmer side .

She picked up his scent and frowned when she noticed he was a human. How could a human approach her without her hearing it? She thought as she stared up at the man who didn’t seem to mind the rain.

“Why are you here?” he asked with his gruff voice. “Are you so blind that you are not seeing the rain? Don’t you know that staying out this late is dangerous for a young pretty girl like you?”

“Why do you care? I was just sitting down.”

“In the rain?”

“It is not like I have any other place to be.” Samira answered.

“Oh, I see. You must be one of those run away children I often come across then.” The man said and when Samira didn’t answer, he shrugged. “Look I am just trying to be nice and start a conversation with you.”

“Why do you care?” Samira asked as she didn’t even wait for him to finish his words.

“For one, you are in front of my house so I don’t need the police or the people you are running away from to show up here, so yes I am just trying to be nice.”

It was a waste of time talking to this stranger who might kill her. She was a wolf but didn’t know the basics of fighting.

“I’m sorry,” Samira said and grabbed her bag to leave and had just walked a few steps away from the man, thinking where else she could pass the night but she was startled to death when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Like seriously how could a man be big as he moved silently like a ghost?

She tensed under his hand and waited for his strike which didn’t come. The man’s hand left her shoulder as he coughed awkwardly as she turned to face him again.

“What is it again? Is this your road that I am standing on?”

“I don’t normally do this but you can stay with me until you figure out your way.”

“So you can kidnap me and tie me to your bed and turn me into your sex slave?”

The man chuckled. “You are pretty no doubt but you’re too young for me. I just wanted to help you, you will get sick if you stay out too long in the rain.”

The stranger was right, if she was in her wolf form then she wouldn’t be so worried about getting sick but she was afraid of coming in contact with a hunter and she doesn’t even know if he was a hunter or not.

“You know what, suit yourself.” he turned to leave but paused when he heard her voice.

“Please wait,” Samira called out. “Why do you want to help me? You don’t know me, I can be a killer and kill you in your sleep.”

The human chuckled as if she had said something funny. “Kill me? I’d like to see you try that and as for me helping you, well you can call it my redemption for what I have done.” he told her. “My name is Moses anyway.” he introduced himself and didn’t wait for any response before leaving Samira for his house.

The door was opened as light flooded from the inside.

Samira waited for a while then headed towards the door. She has got nothing to lose.
