“Let him come in.” Zinedine told his secretary.
Soon Vlad walked in. He was wearing one of the most expensive charcoal gray suits. His red hair was combed and his face was behind his gray mask. The only part of his face showing was his mouth and eyes. He sat down and crossed his legs.
“To what do I owe this visit, Mr Vampire?”
Vlad laughed out as if Zinedine had told him a funny joke. “This vampire has a name, Vlad, which I believe your secretary must have told you.”
“I wasn’t paying attention then.”
“Okay, I am Vlad Whitlock, the heir to the Whitlock company.” Vlad introduces himself once again to Zinedine, stretching his hand for a handshake which Zinedine refuses to oblige.
“I don’t shake hands with blood suckers.”
“Cliche, don’t you think. We drink blood to survive, without it we are dead.”
“What brings you here?” Zinedine asked, hitting the nail on its head, the mere sight of the Vampire irks him so badly and he was trying to hold himself from squeezing his face in disgust.
“I came here for us to collaborate together, me bringing my diamonds to you, how do you see that?”
“You drove by some companies while coming here, right?”
“Yes, why?”
“So you left all those companies and drove down here just to sell me some diamonds?”
“I want to make the Wilderwood company my partner. This is a huge company and my own company is huge, coming together will make us have more profit in the market.”
“I don’t work with vampires, you can carry your partnership to your kind. In fact I can even recommend one for you.”
“Mr Zinedine we are friends and even though our kind are enemies I believe we can still work together and prove the narrative wrong. Come on, don’t be a joy killer, your father would have accepted my offer. Think about it.”
“Vlad,” Zinedine called out as if he was talking to a child. “You see this just shows that you need to shift that mask away from your eyes to see clearly, I don’t want to believe you are blind, because my father is not in this chair, I am and I am not him. Besides, I don’t do business with someone who hides behind a mask, what are you scared of?”
“I see, you’ve insulted me.” Vlad stood up angrily. “My mask is no business of yours.”
“Oh it is, I would like to see the face of my business partner unless you are a chicken.” Zinedine mocked, making the sound chicken makes, once.
“I am not a chicken. I will be leaving, I know when I am not welcomed.” Vlad told him and left the office.
His plan to be closer to Zinedine so that it will be easier to see Samira didn’t work so his next plan was to pay Leander Wilderwood a visit.

Vlad was livid with anger as he left the company. He controlled his anger as he didn’t want to burn down the company, thus giving himself away. He has a plan and he is not the type that doesn’t think things through with what he’d plan at hand. Everything has its own time and season and now is the season of Zinedine, he should enjoy it while it last.
He entered one of his SUV lurking around in the premises and ordered the driver to drive towards the second company owned by the Wilderwood. One way or the other, he must surely get into the Wilderwood.
