Eleanor’s Home:
Opening her eyes Samira widened a bit as she saw her son. Seeing him awake reminded her about Zinedine’s visit and she wondered why he hadn’t come yet to pick them.
“Good morning mum.” Hiro greeted her cheerfully.
“Morning my handsome, hope you slept well?” She asked, stretching her legs on the bed.
“Yes, I was so tired yesterday that I didn’t know when I fell asleep.” Hiro answered.
“Yeah, I understand.”
“I didn’t sleep even longer like I thought I would. In fact I was surprised that normally when I am tired like this it takes two days for me to wake up but all it took from me was just a night and I am feeling alright.” Hiro stated.
“I know honey and that was why I was shocked when I saw you wide awake. You know maybe it is because of your father that came here last night.” Samira told him.
Hiro didn’t even wait for Samira to finish her words when he quickly asked in bewilderment. “Hold on mum, you mean my father, came here last night?” He pronounced each of his words slowly.
Samira nodded her head and then the side of her lips lifted up as she smiled. “Yes son and guess what?”
“You know I am not good at guessing mum.”
“He is coming to pick the both of us today.” Samira told him, deciding not to tell him he ought to have picked them early this morning. Probably he is being held by something. “He will be here soon.” she added.
“I can’t wait to meet him, mum.” he told her, showing all his front teeth in the smile that came out.
“Let me go and freshen up and I will go and prepare something for us to eat, okay?” she said, stepping out of the bed.
“Okay mum.” Hiro said and watched as his mother went inside the bathroom. He concentrated on the game he was playing on the laptop.
By the time Samira was done bathing and wearing a pair of green shorts and a white tank top, she quickly kissed her son’s forehead and went out of the room and headed for the living room where she saw Eleanor in a deep thought. She was seated and Samira went over to join her on the sofa.
She tap Eleanor on her shoulder and that brought the witch back to reality.
“What is it?” Samira asked worriedly. “I hope everything is alright with you?”
“Everything is fine Samira, I am just thinking about Sebastian.” Eleanor answered as the words fell other mouths before she could stop herself.
“Sebastian? Who is he?” She asked furrowing.
“Zinedine brother. He was the one who came here the first day to look for me and Hiro after what Hiro displayed.” Eleanor answered truthfully. There was no need to lie now.
“Okay but that does not give you the reason why you should think about it. Zinedine is here with me now and I will tell him so that he can talk to his father to stop Sebastian from coming here.”
“No, it’s not what it’s making me think, Samira, it’s Sebastian himself.” Eleanor revealed.
“What did he do?” Samira asked me.
“I think he loves me, he told me he wants to take me out with that mouth of his.”
“Okay, and you turn him down?”
“Yes because when I asked about his age he told me he is 20, do you see where I am heading?”
“Yeah, so you want to do like me, run away too just because you are older than him.”
“No, I mean I can’t run away because of a boy.” Eleanor said, rolling her eyes at her friend. “He is cute and then he kissed me. I wasn’t expecting that and I liked it. I want to feel his lips on mine again.” She added.
