He just wanted to confirm what he had been thinking, if Romulus had really sent him so that he can have his own pound of flesh or this gamma is doing this on his own and the Alpha doesn’t know.

“It was my Alpha order to follow you and report to him.” He answered truthfully.

“Why is that?” Zinedine asked, his forehead furrowed further. Maybe Romulus was trying to attack him because of what he did to him last night. He waited for Leo’s answer.

“I don’t know, he just ordered me to follow you and know where you are going with anyone that is with you,” Leo explained. “Please forgive me, I won’t try it again.

I was merely following my Alpha’s order.” He added, he could feel himself getting dizzy from the rush of blood going to his head since he was upside down.

“Hmm, have you called him?” Zinedine asked and let go of Leo’s leg watching as the man stayed on the ground for almost five minutes to get himself before standing up to his feet.

“Thank you my kin-” Leo began to say his thanks, it seems he was going to live today after all.

Interrupting him. “Call your Alpha and put your phone on loudspeaker.” He instructed immediately.

Leo wasted no time in going to his car and brought out his phone to dial Alpha Romulus number. He hoped and prayed that Romulus should pick his call as he put it on loudspeaker as Zinedine had instructed him.

Alpha Romulus picked his call at the fifth ring.

“Have they stopped? Where is the address of the new house he took her to?” Alpha Romulus’ voice was heard as clear as day.

Zinedine took the phone from Leo. “You have the guts to send one of your Gammas to track my mate down after what you’ve done to her in the past.

Romulus, you’ve bitten more than you can chew. Just remember that in my books, there is no forgiveness.” he told the Alpha and ended the call and wanted to throw the phone away but instead smashed it to the ground and used his shoe to piece it on the ground. “You are not going to use the phone anyway,” he said, smiling at Leo. “I mean who do you want to call from the land of the dead, huh?” he winked as he picked up the fast rising heart beat of Leo.

“I am sorry.” Leo begged. He is doomed.

“In my book, there is no forgiveness, I will give you a painless death just because you are one of my kin.”

“Please.”

“Oh hey, I just remember the quickest death ever.” Zinedine said as if the man in front of him wasn’t pleading for his life.

Leo knelt down, removing his shame. If he ever survives this he will never cross the part of the Wilderwood family ever again.

“I beg you to show mercy on me, my King.”

Zinedine smirked. “Alright, I will give you a chance to fight for your life. If you win, I let you go, if you lose then you know what awaits you.”

“Thank you so much my king. What is my challenge?” Leo demanded as he stood up to his feet. This was only his last chance to escape from death. Romulus didn’t even try to plead on his behalf when Zinedine was still talking to him.

“You fight my son for your freedom.” Zinedine answered nonchalantly. He wanted to know how strong Hiro is, since he had practically told him he would gladly kill Leo.

“I heard my name being said so here I am.” Hiro said behind him, making Zinedine raise an eyebrow at him.

“Fight him. If he wins you he gets his freedom but if you kill him, well, you win.” Zinedine told him.
