Leander scoffed at that. “Did you hear yourself? You are young so I wouldn’t blame you.”

“Look, the only reason why I didn’t follow you and mum was because of Zinedine,” Sebastian said, finally coming clean. “It was because of one of our visitors.”

“Please don’t tell me you have eyes on the omega?”

“No, not her but her friend that came with her.” Sebastian replied. “I’m in love with her ever since the first day I saw her. And we are going on a date tonight.”

Leander stared at him in disbelief. “Wait, let me get you, so because of ‘that woman’ you refuse to come with us?”

“She has a name, Eleanor.” Sebastian corrected. ”

Leander rolled his eyes at him.

“But I am sorry for behaving that way towards you and mum. I will talk to mum when I get home.”

“Yeah, whatever man, just make sure it doesn’t repeat itself again.” Leander said and left the office leaving Sebastian to his thoughts.

Sebastian couldn’t hide his smile when he thought about Eleanor and their passionate night. He couldn’t wait for a repeat and then something more. He loves Eleanor, he knows that but he won’t tell Eleanor now, he doesn’t know if she is playing with his emotions, well, he plans to get to know her more on their date tonight.

He will make sure she falls in love with him. In his mind he has already pictured himself and Eleanor growing together with their kids. It just remains for it to manifest in real life and not just in thoughts.

With that thought on his mind, he focused on the work at hand.

But all of a sudden he stopped typing on his laptop and looked around his office. He could feel he was being watched.

Osiris’s mind wasn’t on what he was doing, even after his bath and was brought his food in his room since the dining room was being repaired, his mind was somewhere else.

Selena noticed and decided to ask.

“What is it, Osiris, spit it out.”

“What is there to spit if there is nothing,” Osiris said to her.

“You’re lost in thoughts and you haven’t even touched your food yet when I know you didn’t eat at all last night,” Selena said.

Osiris sighs, Selena is right, he had barely touched his food set for him on his bed.

“Selena, I’m in a very big problem right now and food is the last thing on my mind.”

“What problem? Did Zinedine find out about the will his mother left for him?”

“Not that, a former business rival of mine wants my company to work with him together, you see, he had met Zinedine and his two brothers with his business proposal which they refused so involved his mother who was my business rival back then in those days.” Osiris explained staring at Selena.

“So? If Leander and Sebastian decide not to accept his business proposal they must have a very tangible reason and whatever the reason is, I will surely back them up.” Selena said and Osiris didn’t care she didn’t include Zinedine’s name.

“Yes, that’s what I did; supported their decision until he decided to involve his mother.” Osiris said.

“So what has his mother got to do with you not eating your food?” Selena asked again.

“Everything Selena, she knows a lot about me, all my secrets, and wants to use that against me unless I agree to her son’s business proposal and if I fail to do that, well, everything will be revealed and let me not begin to say what we are going to lose.” Osiris explained to her half the truth, he twisted a bit of it but almost what he said was the truth, just a few added lies.

“So, kill her. It’s that simple.” Selena told him.

“It’s not as easy as you think, if she was a wolf I would have silenced her but she is not. She is a fu¢king vampire Queen.

One of the originals so killing her won’t be simple.” Osiris told her trying to tell her killing Adelena is a no go area. And he couldn’t tell Zinedine to kill the Vampire and risk everything.
