“Oh cut it off Osiris, I was only scared of you because of who stood by you. If it wasn’t for her, who are you in my presence? You don’t stand a chance. She made me meet you, just be glad you met one of the Vampire queens.” Adelena told him and when she waited a bit and didn’t hear his voice she continued.

“Are you not speaking? Cat got your tongue now?” She laughed briefly then stopped. “When we were young and stupid, we made a deal and right now, I want it all, every single thing.”

“It’s impossible Adelena, a deal is a deal and besides, you can’t have her remaining wealth because her will she left is indestructible. We made an oath made with blood not to come back for each other’s wealth , don’t forget that.”

“I want more Osiris.” Adelena revealed

“I gave you 50% of everything.” Osiris was holding his phone tightly so it was a wonder the phone hadn’t broken.

“I know, but what is the point of arguing, Osiris? Vlad just wants the both companies to work together, is that a crime.” Adelena told him.

“Adelena, I have forgotten about you in my past so please stay in my past.” Osiris uttered.

“You know that is impossible Osiris, Vlad is coming to meet you directly any moment from today and you better get ready or I am going to spill a lot of things you wouldn’t want even your enemies to hear like Vlad being your son.”

“He is not my son, you took him and now, he is one of you.”

“Well since you don’t want to visit him, he is going to visit you himself,” Adelena said laughing. “Osiris.” She began with a serious voice. “Long before this game began, I had drafted out how the ending will be and the end will have my son seated as the King.

He is going to win and rule. So just start preparing what to tell his other brothers because you are going to tell them you’ve accepted Whitlock’s business proposal.”

“You’re insane Adelena.”

“Osiris, that’s not what you should be saying. Start thinking, Vlad is not a patient one. I can’t wait to see you again, physically and not on TV, goodbye Osiris.” Adelena told him and the sound of kisses sounded before the line went off.

“That bastard!” Osiris gritted out in a yell. “After everything I have done for her, is this what she will use to repay me?” he said. “What will Zinedine say?” he asked in the empty bathroom.

He wasn’t that scared of Sebastian and Leander, no, Leander will yell but Zinedine, he might kill him. Thinking of that wicked beast of his son who likes frustrating him so much made his heart start beating fast.

A knock brought him back to his surroundings and he tried to calm his nerves down as he opened the door with a forced smile on his face, hoping it would convince Selena which surely did.

“Babe, you’re awake.” He said in fake surprise.

“Yes, I have been awake for sometime now, you’ve been inside since and I was wondering what’s keeping you in there.”

“I wanted to have my bath.” Osiris lied.

“And why haven’t you yet?”

He chuckled lightly. “I was waiting for you to join me my dear.”

“You should have woken me up then.” Selena said with a smile on her face as she entered the bathroom and closed the door behind her.

Adelena chuckled to herself in her bedroom, on her double Queen size bed. It was a gamble which was a success. Seeing Osiris’s call had surprised her, she knew one day he was going to call her, luckily for him, he didn’t wait until his death to call her.

She texted her son to meet her in her room immediately and a few minutes later Vlad walked in. He wasn’t putting on his mask.

“Look at how handsome my son is.” Adelena complimented him.

“I am sure this is not why you texted me Mum,” Vlad said with a grown on his face. “But thanks Mum.” he added, smiling a bit.

“I called you here because I just finished speaking with Osiris.”

“And now I have told him that you will be coming any day from now to join hands with him.”

“You did that?”

“Yes.”

“And he accepted just like that?”
