“Now you know how I felt when you pushed me off my bed plus I can’t be telling you something and you are relaxing. If you hadn’t opened that wide mouth of yours on Lia, she wouldn’t have known about my feelings for her.”
“So if I didn’t, how did you put it ‘meddle in’ you didn’t plan to tell her?” Hiro asked with his brows raised.
“Yes.” Vlad admitted.
“So the position I met you both was what?”
“I would have figured out a way out of it.”
“So in other words I am to blame for her running away?”
“Yes, exactly that.”
“Now I see.”
“See what?”
“This.” Hiro answered, gesturing all over Vlad. “No wonder you are lonely.” He added.
“I am not lonely, I just like to stay on my own, that’s not lonely.” Vlad denied.
“That’s the same thing.” Hiro rolled his eyes.
Vlad was quiet for a minute and then nodded his head and sighed. “It is.” He agreed.
“Uncle, she has feelings for you too, maybe she was just shocked and surprised and that’s why she ran away.” Hiro told him.
“How do you know that she has feelings for me too?” Vlad asked.
“Just a hunch, now get out of my room, I was in the middle of some thinking.” Hiro said and pointed at his room door.
“If it is about the demon you are thinking young man, be careful, if she is still here then she must be planning something against you and everyone, just because you like her doesn’t mean that if she messed up with my family I will leave her.” Vlad said with all seriousness.
“You know it’s weird when you and my father are saying the same thing with the same expression, it’s like you reminding me. I get it.” Hiro grinned.
“And like I told my father, if Rozralas tries that, I will be the first person to kill her and I won’t let her hurt any of my family members, you have my word.”
Vlad smiled. “Now, I am leaving your room.” The Vampire left his room.
Hiro went back to his bed.

Sitting Room:
Zinedine and Samira returned and the ex-assassin waited until her mate had parked the car in their garage before she followed him inside.
They saw Sebastian and his twin brother, Teagan, Alora and her father seated and discussing amongst themselves.
“Did the bleeding stop?” Sebastian was the first person to ask.
“Yes, we had to wait until Romulus showed up before we left.” Samira answered and went to sit down close to Zinedine. “Where is my son and Vlad?”
“They will be in their room.” Leander responded. “We haven’t see them leave the house so they are in their rooms.”
“What about the demon and her friend?”
“In their room I guess, since she did that to Viva we haven’t seen her.” Teagan answered.
“But why will she do that to her?” Alora asked.
“I don’t care, Viva is someone I know, she must have looked for Rozralas trouble before the demon showed her not to mess with her.” Samira told her.
“Agreed,” Alora said.
Samira stood up. “Come on girls, let’s go.” Teagan and Alora stood up as well.
“Where are you all heading to?”
“There is someone I know who has a library that will explain to me what I need to know about this Equinox.” Samira answered.
“But hasn’t Teagan and Alora told us all that we need to know about the coming Equinox?” Sebastian reminded Samira.
“Yes, but we have no idea when the Equinox might strike and why the demon is after my son.”
