Zinedine and Samira said in unison.
“You see, that’s why it’s not good to take words from someone else’s mouth,” Vlad said, his eyes staring pointley at Zinedine who chuckled.
“But why would he need you too?” Zinedine asked.
“She doesn’t know that and she said only Rozralas could answer me. And fighting that demon would make Hiro fight me so I am out of options here.” Vlad told them one of his valid reasons for not wanting to fight and demanded answers from Rozralas.
“Don’t worry, where I went to yield so soon we will know the face behind the white-haired man. Somehow Mirabel will help us communicate with one of your ancestors, probably your mother if she has ever faced this man that is hell bent on tormenting me and my family.” Samira utter.
“If we know him, then stopping him will be a piece of cake.” Vlad stated and then heaved out a sigh. “I’m going back to my room, I had left when Lia was sleeping and didn’t want her to wake up and not find me in the room.” With that Vlad excused himself and went back to his room.
“Why do the two single men in this house fall for the wrong women? He didn’t even say anything about hurting Lia for what she told him.” Samira puffed out in annoyance.
“You won’t blame him, after all I fell in love with a dangerous killer.” Zinedine said, grabbing one of her hands and intertwining it with his own. “You can see his happiness on his face, he is happy with her and that’s all that matters.”
“The Equinox is a week from now, giving us seven days to find out the identity of this unknown man that forcefully put himself into our lives.” Samira said.
“You kill people, Samira,” Zinedine began but she cut him off.
“I don’t kill people again, remember?” Samira had to remind him.
“Just let me finish, it’s not good to take words out of someone’s mouth,” Zinedine said, saying almost what Vlad had said to him a few minutes ago and that earned him a playful slap at the back of his head which made him laugh a bit then stop to say.
“But seriously, listen before making any conclusions, I think our unknown man is just similar to you. You plan before killing someone successfully right?”
At Samira nod he continued. “And that’s what he does too only that he is hiding in the shadows and sending his minions to do his work for him. So you should think in a killer way, if you were him, in his shoes, what would you do?”
“True, I didn’t think about that, I will do what you said.” Samira promised.
Damien was done with his food and got up to change into someone nice. Forty minutes later he came out and gestured to Ezra to follow him. He entered one of his cars with Ezra sitting at the other side of the passenger seat.
He instructed his security in his compound on what to do since he was going out and won’t be around, so drove straight to Zinedine’s house. Ezra didn’t need to show him any direction because he knows the way to the Millennium Wolf house.
“So tell me, how did you meet Zinedine?” Damien asked, trying to bring up a conversation between them since he didn’t like the silence that engulfed them. He wasn’t a fan of music so he didn’t play any songs from his car stereo.
Ezra ignored him and Damien focused on the road ahead.
By the time Ezra and Damien arrived at the house of Zinedine, the sun had gone to sleep and the stars were shining brightly in the sky.
Damien stopped his black SUV car at the gate and gestured at Ezra to lead the way. When Ezra rang the bell outside the gate, he was expecting to see any of the werewolves guard opening the gate for them but was surprised when he saw Zinedine instead.
“Come inside.” Zinedine said and turn around to head back inside.
Ezra and Damien followed him almost immediately.
“I wasn’t expecting you at the gate.” Ezra said, voicing out what he was in his head.
“I could sense you a mile away from here so in order for you not to argue with those nincompoops, I decided to come instead and save you all the stress.” Zinedine replied referring to his security around the house as nincompoops.
