“What are we going to do?” Vlad asked. “Obviously, nothing came out from where you went, we are back to square one again.” He added.
“We have a few days to prepare.” Zinedine answered.
“The Equinox is six days away, you and Hiro need to be protected at all costs, especially Hiro bro.” Vlad said, Hiro is important but the vampire doesn’t know why he is needed also, probably he was a plan B to force Hiro to do his bidding
“Believe me, nothing will happen to me and my son or any one of us.” Zinedine assured his brother.
“I hope so.”
“Did you get information from your chosen one?” Zinedine asked, changing the topic.
“Obviously, she makes dolls and uses it to control whoever she wishes, not just whoever it is but she makes sure the doll looks exactly like who she wants to control and that’s it.” Vlad said not hiding anything from him.
“That’s an awesome power Vlad, your chosen one is strong then,” Zinedine said to which Vlad nodded his head and he continued. “Then why is she here? To make a doll face of me?” He touched his face. “If she is, tell her to make me more handsome.”
“It’s not you she came to make a doll for, but Samira.” Vlad revealed.
“What!?” Zinedine shouted.
“Bring down your voice Zinedine.” Vald gave a warning glance.
“What!?” The second time sounded much louder than the first one and Vlad had to roll his eyes at his twin brother.
“Seriously, did I carry water in my mouth when I said you should bring down your voice? I didn’t speak another language to you did I?” Vlad said sarcastically.
“If she dares touch a pin on Samira’s hair, your chosen mate is gone, G.O.N.E.”
“I heard you the first time Zinedine, you don’t need to spell it out to me and she said she is doing it because if I refuse to follow them or Hiro resisted then Samira will be used against us and then we will comply.
Though she is no longer continuing, my eyes are on her. She has changed.”
“Good, let me go and meet my mate.” Zinedine said and headed towards the stairs, he was about to take the first stairs when he paused and turned slightly to look at Vlad.
“No matter how careless you are, don’t let Hiro know what you just told me, he won’t take it lightly and before you will finish your explanation your chosen one will be gone.”
“I don’t plan to and I am not careless.” Vlad cautioned.
Zinedine snorted and continued his walk up the stairs. He didn’t want to disturb Leander and Sebastian’s sleep so he plans to tell them about his visit to Mirabel in the night, over dinner.
Soon, Vlad was joined by Lia. The Vampire didn’t ask if she overheard them discussion, he just opened his arms and she rushed towards it, sitting on his laps and both of them watched the TV, in a comfortable silence.

Samira went to her son too and discovered he wasn’t there. With a shrug, she went to her room and a few minutes later Zinedine joined her.
