“Good cos she’s as good as nothing anyway, she’s just as useless as her father” Lex said
“Don’t you think you’re more stupid and useless?” Gary asked and Lex couldn’t say a word
“Sending your dogs to do your dirty jobs and threatening the lives of their loved ones” Gary said and scoffed amused
“You’re such a weakling, the letter wasn’t a joke note that” Gary said again and Lex suddenly bursted into laughter
“You think a threat over a simple worker will scare me?”
“But your reaction was different and besides your loyal dog isn’t nothing to us, and we know you don’t care about your family so…” Gary trailed
“How about your baby… Your company”
Lex froze at this….
“W… What are you…”
“Let’s see in the next few days” Gary said and hung up the call
Lex’s expression was nothing to write home about, his face was pale and he looked completely frozen
His company was his life… He invested almost everything to it

“That guy looked cool earlier” Camille said
They were currently in a room Zane had given them, he told Frenchie to stay with her sister
“Which guy?” Frenchie asked stroking Camille’s hair
“The tall one that kept giving you cold looks”
“All of them are tall Camille” Frenchie said but she knew who Camille was talking about
It was Gary
“But I know who you are talking about and are you looking at boys?, At this age?” Frenchie asked and Camille laughed
“I’m sixteen sis and I’m not looking at a guy that should be at least ten years older than me, someone my sister might be in love with” Camille said
“What?” Frenchie asked
“Com’n sis, I can feel a spark between you two” Camille smiled
“Go to sleep Camille, I’m going to take a walk around” Frenchie said standing up, she tucked Camille to bed and ksses her forehead
“Goodnight sis” Camille said
“Goodnight dear” Frenchie replied and left the room
She closed the door and turned but stopped when she saw Gary, he seemed to heading towards his room
He glanced at her and walked past her but she stopped him
“Uh… Sir I never got to thank you properly earlier”
“Know I never wanted to do it and I haven’t forgiven you… I hate betrayers abs back stabbers” he said coldy and walked past her

Frenchie bit her lips as she watched him leave, she had the urge to scream
“It wasn’t my fault alright and I didn’t say anything to him!!”
But she kept quiet instead, she turned and headed outside, she sighed and stared ahead in the garden
She felt a presence behind her and turned, Kai stood a beside her with his hands in his pocket, he didn’t say anything so she also said nothing.
