They walked to his car which wasn’t far from where they had stood, he introduced himself as Lex Huntsman
“I’m Annalise Ford, well Annalise Adler now” Annalise said chuckling
“Where are you going now?”
“My husband’s company, I have something to show him” she replied
“I bet he’ll be surprised”
“He will be” she muttered
They stopped in front of the company and at the same time Zane was going out of the company but he stopped when he saw Annalise come down from a car, an unfamiliar car
He wanted to go to the hospital since Layla was at her place of work and the driver was still home
He frowned when he saw a man come down with her, it was Lex, what was she doing with him?
Zane also got down from his car and walked towards them
“Lisa, what are you doing with him?” He asked glaring at Lex who only gave him a smirk
“This kind man saved my purse when an idiot stole it from me and he also offered me a ride”
“You could’ve just called the driver or even me”
“I wanted to repay him and the ride was the only option” she pouted and walked slowly to him, hugging him
“I’m not mad Lisa” Zane said still glaring at Lex who raised his brows amusingly
“That’s a lie” Annalise shook her head
“You can go now kind man, I don’t see any reason for you to be here anymore” Zane said to Lex who raised his hands in surrender
“Alright then, take care Annalise I hope we meet some other time” Lex said and got into his car while Annalise waved
“Don’t wave” Zane said sternly and she dripped her hands in confusion
“Why?” She asked but he didn’t reply
When Lex drove off Zane finally breathed out, he had to protect Annalise more, he had to keep her closer, Lex knows his weakness and Zane could tell what Lex was thinking
“How did it go?” He asked
“Here” she said giving him the letter the doctor had given her
“What is this?”
“Read it” she urged and he looked at it
He froze at the content, he stared at her in shock, Annalise bit her lips not knowing how he was going to react….

“Y… You’re pregnant?” Zane stuttered and she nodded slowly
“That’s what the letter says” Annalise chuckled awkwardly
“L… Lisa you’re carrying my baby?” Zane asked again and Annalise nodded not knowing how else to react
Suddenly he gave her a big hug and picked her up twirling her around while laughing.
