Frenchie looked up at him, he sounded angry a bit, but he sounded more frustrated and … Scared, really scared
“I’m sorry sir”
“It’s no use to apologize, she’s alright that’s the most important but Lex is not going away with this”
“Who’s Lex?” They both heard a faint voice ask, it was Anna
How long has she been awake?
Frenchie left and Zane went to Annalise, kssing her hard, immediately she gave him full access he drove his tongue in, scking on both her lower and upper lip
Finally he broke the kss and bumped his forehead slightly on hers, her face was red as she tried to catch her breath
“Zane?” She called as soon as she had caught her breath
“Shh, just let me get my mind back” he whispered
“Is my baby okay?” She asked
“Yea, she’s a strong one” Zane replied
“She?, How are you so sure?”
“I’m sure it’s a girl and she’s going to be as adorable as you are”
“Well I’m sure it’s a boy because I’m the pregnant one here” Annalise grinned
“We’ll see when the time comes” Zane chuckled and Annalise sighed
“Zane who’s Lex?”
“The person that pushed you, did you see or maybe make out the person’s gender?” Zane asked
“I didn’t see her face” Annalise said after thinking for some seconds
“Her?”
“Yes, she was smiling when she pushed me”
“She didn’t cover her face?”
“Only her hoodie”
“Alright” Zane nodded and brought out his phone, he wanted to leave but Annalise dragged him back
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going to make a call across to Gary”
“You’ll come back right?”
“Sure” he said and she let him go
Zane got out of the ward and dialed Gary’s phone number, Gary picked after few rings
“He sang another one”
“Heard Anna’s in the hospital, how is she?”
“She’s alright and the person Lex had sent is a female again”
“Does that id!ot have an obsession over his stupid and ugly female spies”
Frenchie who was beside Gary:”…..” I’ll take that as a compliment
She had gone to the company as soon as she left the hospital, she then informed Gary and Kai about it before Zane called
“Check the cinema CCTV footage, I’ll be there soon” Zane said and ended the call, he turned to go back but stopped when he saw Annalise standing by the door
“Lisa..’
“Zane tell me everything and don’t even think of hiding anything from me” she pouted angrily with folded arms, Zane sighed
“What exactly does he want from you and why is he targeting me?”
“He’s a rival and I think he’s just really insecure that something at least twice you gee than him is a lot more successful than he is, ana he knows you’re my only weakness, that’s why he’s after you” Zane replied
“Do me a favor hubby, if you get this not so gentleman please let me have his head”
“Lisa..” Zane was shocked
“He tried to kill me and my child and he ain’t getting away with it”
“It’s settled then” Zane smirked….

“One cup of iced caramel latte with almond milk for you Miss” Layla said giving the customer her order
“And mint chocolate ice cream for you Mr” Layla smiled stretching the order to the customer
“I want to order the full package of Miss Layla Lincoln” a deep familiar voice said, that voice that Layla could recognize anywhere, Layla’s eyes brightened immediately
“Sir” Gina and the other workers greeted
“Bunny” Layla exclaimed happily and jumped on Kai with a hug
“I missed you” she pouted
Gina and the other workers: “…….” I swear I’m not oppressed
“Uh… Miss Layla this…” Gina trailed
“I missed you too” Kai said
Gina: “……” Alright
Gina continued working with the other workers.
