CHAPTER 93

Kai had traveled for two days, he told her he would be going to his parents house

“Let’s go” Kai said holding her hand

“You know this is against the rule right?, I can’t leave work” Layla responded

“I told you to stop working I’ll pay you double your salary”

Gina and the others stared at themselves in shock

“I want to work”

“I went to your house and saw your car parked, how did you get here then?” Kai asked

“I told you that you didn’t need to buy me a car, I already have one back at home”

“Well you’re my girl now, you can’t be taking a public transport, what if something happens?”

“What!!” Gina yelled in shock and the other workers palmed her mouth to stop her from screaming more, they dragged her to the back room

“They’re dating?” Gina asked

“We just heard it also” one of the workers replied

“Oh my God!!, I’ve been a good manager haven’t I?” Gina asked and they nodded confused

“Good, I’m having dinner with her tonight, the bills will be on her” she smiled widely

The other workers: “……..” Oh so scary

They shook in fear….

“How’s Annalise?” Kai asked

“She’s well, her bruises are gone now” Layla replied, she had asked Gina of she could leave early

“Sure, sure, you can come back whenever you want and please, let’s have dinner once you’re back, feel free and take your time” Gina had said with a wide smile that gave Layla the creeps

“Have you had lunch?” Kai asked

“No, have you?”

“No” he shook his head

“Let’s have lunch at my place then, I’ll cook” Layla said

“How about having you for lunch instead” Kai said giving her the look

“Eyes forward horny bunny, you’re driving”

“How about it?”

“Sounds fun but I want my legs intact cos I’ll be going out”

“Why?, To where?” He asked with an obvious frown on his face

“Gina wants to have dinner with me” Layla replied

“Why does she want to have dinner with you, you’re not going, call her and tell her you’re busy”

“Com’n kaiser it’s a harmless dinner and I won’t take long, can you just reduce your rate of possessiveness?”

“I don’t share my belongings” he said calmly and she almost screamed in frustration

“It’s just for a few minutes?, An hour at the least, please” Layla pleaded and gave him her irresistible puppy eyes charm

“Fine” he said after a while

But when Layla was in the kitchen, her phone rang it was Gina.
