CHAPTER 31
Jayson’s Pov
I stood numbed as Noah kept pacing around, my gaze on no one in particular as I scratched my long curls in shock
“We’ve got a really huge problem man, what are we going to do?, How did it get to this?” Noah asked and I faced him
“I don’t know, I’m so stressed right now!” I snapped and he flinched as I sat down on my bed
“Well, don’t get mad at me……. it’s not my fault that your plan backfired, now you’ll have to marry Jasmine!” He also snapped and I closed my face with both hands
“Stop saying it!, I can’t marry anyone!, I just can’t and certainly not her!, She’s annoying and we can’t stay without arguing!” I said and he huffed
“It’s not like you both have a choice, you already presented her to your mother as your finacee and now you will have to marry her!” He said and I groaned loudly
“Fck it!!!” I yelled and my phone started ringing…..I rolled my eyes before taking it and it was the last person I wanted to talk to right now
“Who’s calling?” Noah asked
“Mandy….” I said with utmost difficulty and he rolled his eyes
“You gotta answer it” he said and I couldn’t contain my anger…… I’m pretty sure she must have heard that I’m getting married
“What do want!?” I said with an attitude immediately I answered the call
“What is it that I’m hearing, boobear!……you are getting married!?” She yells over the phone and I had to take it off my ear for a minute
“This is none of your business Mandy…… it’s my business so don’t butt in” I said as calmly as I could
“Are you kidding me right now!?, We are supposed to get married!, What’s going on?” She said and I heard her voice broke over the edge
“I was never going to get married to you, don’t complicate things” I said and she groans
“You know what!?, I’m coming over to Las Vegas….. I’m not taking this shît!” She yells and the call ended before I could protest
At that moment it felt as if I I’m about to run mad
“Well, what does she want?” Noah asked and I stared at him weakly
“Mandy is coming over to Las Vegas” I said and he gaped in shock….. yeah we all are getting the shocks of our lives today
“What exactly is her problem?, Did you plan on getting married to her?” He asked and I glared at him
“Getting married to Mandy is never going to happen in my life, we are just friends and that’s it!” I snapped and he nods
“I’m pretty sure Jasmine doesn’t want to have anything to do with you as well and now this?, You have to talk to her about it” he said and I frowned
“You mean I have to beg her to go ahead with the plan?, That’ll never work” I said frustratedly
“Well you gotta do something or else you are going to get married to her for real” he said and I held my head with both hands
“Can I not hear the word married for at least two minutes!?” I snapped and he moved backwards
“I need to speak to my mother” I said and walked into the closet
Why is everything going backwards?, This wasn’t the plan
