CHAPTER 51

“What in the hell’s name is going on?” Mika muttered as Avia stared at her shocked face, smiling with a glimpse of mockery in her eyes

“Hi everyone, my name is Delilah…. it’s really a pleasure to work with you guys” she said cheerfully as she stood besides Avia

“You are welcome….” Roland said with a smile and Mika scoffed loudly……she didn’t even realize that she scoffed as she blinks repeatedly…. trying not to look at Avia

“Something wrong Mika?, If you know you can handle the cooking and registering all by yourself, then I will tell her to leave” Avia said and Mika raised her eyebrows….

“I can’t handle both” she simply said as she crossed her hands together

“Good, so instead of making an attitude, why don’t you try to be nice?” Avia asked and Mika tilted her head backwards…. Delilah smile faded as the argument ensured between both girls

The tension between them increased as Mika felt like punching a hole on Avia’s face……the main reasons why she misses Jasmine

If Jasmine were here, she would have made sure Avia chewed her words

“It’s really nothing, there’s no reason to argue please” Delilah said and Mika rolled her eyes

“Thank your lucky stars that she intervained, you would have worked extra shift today” Avia said as she walked away and Mika rolled her eyes

“I was hoping if we could be friends?….. Roland told me alot about you” Delilah said as she walked up to Mika and Mika gave her a scornful look

“Be friends with your butt….. and I never asked for your opinion so stay outta my business…. you got that?” Mika fires with a glare and Roland frowned

Jasper simply watched the whole drama with a smile on his face

“This is going to be good” he mutters as he walked into the kitchen and Mika walked to the counter

Delilah stood completely stunned by Mika’s behavior when Roland walked up to her

“Why is she so mean to me?” Delilah asked with a sad pout and Roland chuckled

“That’s just how she is….. come let me show you around” Roland said and she smiles….. holding his middle arm and he was a little bit surprised but shook it off as they walked into the kitchen

Mika glared at the both of them, her eyes trailing their movements as they finally entered

She rubs her forehead as she slapped herself repeatedly

“Get….yourself….. together…..Mika….. don’t let her get to you” she said, giving herself a light slap as each word slipped out of her mouth

She heaved heavily and looked at the closed door for a while before bringing out her phone

She can’t possibly be jealous…. it’s not like she has any feelings for Roland, so screw them and their being together
