The compound fell into total chaos, and a large rain started, but still, the mobsters didn’t depart.
The moment they saw Adeline is at the training ground with them, they surrounded her, dumping words at her face.
It’s like a lot has been waiting for this opportunity.
• I heard he slapped Death again.
• What the fûck!
• And he gave him only removal as punishment?
• What is the torture house for?
• Dude needs to take an acid bath!
• Unfortunate bastard! Should have died instead of Kimberly.
• I dunno why Death cherishes him anyways… The special treatment got into his head obviously.
• Tell me about it… He even sleeps in his manor?
• The only person who enjoyed that privilege was Corey, and what happened at last? He betrayed him!
• Death is getting soft… We want the old ruthless Death who blended the flesh of three spy mobsters and ordered Selesta to make it into burgers last year October 31st!
• What did he do with the burgers again? Someone remind me.
• He fuçking took them to the spies families and made them eat before killing them too!

Every word, every sentence was landing straight on Adeline’s face without getting cold.
Every stroke of the rain was slapping her in the face too, beating her on the skin… she’s totally soaked, with the cold rainwater.
Jinx left for the clinic already, so Loud is the only one with her in the crowd right now.
Adeline’s lids were unstable as she looked around, staring at the pack of angry mobsters ready to tear her apart completely.
Loud suddenly grabbed her hand…
“I’ll take you out of here” he said, but she took her hand from him.
“I can get out by myself” she said, and Loud nodded once.
She took the lead, and Loud walked behind, then Malik joined him.
A lot of them wants to hit Adeline or punch her in the face as she exited the circle, but none were able to.
Her cutting glares put all of them in their places till she was completely out of the circle.
Loud gave Malik a glare, but Malik didn’t back off as they both followed her behind.

MANOR*
Madden is just returning, and immediately the door went shut behind him, the loud sound made his head bang.
He had to hold the head tight, groaning as he stood still on his spot.
His ears became hot, even his face, and the blood in his system was boiling for real.
He feels like vomiting everything, and his own skin feels like it’s on fire
Even the rain breeze or the numerous AC aren’t enough to quench the hotness.
“Fûck!!!!!!!!!!” He growled like an animal, and green veins appeared in his neck as he looked up at the ceiling with neuropathic pains coursing through his peripheral nerves.
The serum he was injected with by Oana… It’s finally starting to work properly.
Every sound in the manor disappeared again, but he could hear the sound of everything happening in his own body.
The abnormal thudding of his heart.
The pounding of his blood across his veins.
The slamming of his brain against his fuçking skull.
The sizzling of his own skin!
He fell… Into the past.
FLASHBACK, AGE SEVEN~BASEMENT*
It’s been a year since the Masked Monster started the injection routine, and no one in the compound noticed anything, not even Klara.
Madden is sitting on the basement bare ground with his back on the wall, and his legs propped up.
His arms are wrapped around the legs, and his chin is rested on his knees as he looked on blankly.
The time is currently some minutes to 10pm at night.
The Masked Monster will soon come again.
He lost sleep at night only because of her. How would he sleep when she even haunts his dreams?
Also, he has been restless since Maya told him that the Masked Monster also visits her.
He quickly stood to his feet when the backdoor opened, and his haunter came in as usual.
The Monster, masked as usual, ominous and dark with traumatizing walking steps.
Madden quickly found a stone and went on his knees.
He began writing something very fast, sweating as he struggled to make it visible on the ground.
He finished writing before the Masked Monster got to him, and when she read it, she chuckled.
It says… FACE ME ALONE, LEAVE MAYA.
Obviously… She understands mute language too.
“You want that? Are you sure you can take it? I was being fair by making it 50/50 for you both” she said, her voice heavy cos of her mask.
Madden quickly nodded, and she came closer. He didn’t move back.
“Are you making a deal with me right now?” She muttered, crouching over him.
There’s a cross tattoo on her chest… Right on top of her heart.
He sighted it before nodding.
“Face me alone” he replied with sign language, and that was it.
She grabbed her by the arm, and in another minute, the injection went shoved into his neck, then the second one… making two shots.
