RED AND THE ALPHA

“You marked her!” Yelled alpha Fred while the crowd gathered below gasped in extreme shock, their eyes widening at this act.

“Do you know what you’ve done?” He asked, rage now clearly evident in his voice as he spoke approaching them.

The anger burning in his eyes piercing and raging and Red who saw him approach them trembled only to be shield by drake when he stepped forward blocking her view from him.

“I do” he sounded looking straight into Fred eyes.

“You’ve marked her. You can’t kill her!” He growled lowly trying to keep his temper in check.

“And neither can you. She’s under my protection now and no one, absolutely no one can hurt her” he said loudly for all to hear.

“Did she be witch you again” said Cervical rising from her seat utterly frustrated.

“No one bewitched me. You want to know the cause of all this, go get her” he demanded Cedric his beta to see him nod leaving their sight only to return dragging poco with him in a haggard manner as she struggled to yank her hands free from him.

Seeing his mother being yanked by the arm that way made his blood boil.

“What is the meaning of this?!”

“Ask her about it? Everything began with her” he yelled back his eyes burning into poco who lowered her head not daring to raise her head to him.

“She !lied to us all! She committed a very heavy offense” he spoke wanting to step forward when drex stepped n front of his mother shielding him from Drakko.

No one has ever seen Franklin so angry at Poco and almost everyone was dying to know the reason behind his sudden change of attitude.

“Meaning?” asked Drex.

“She lied about the fact that Status could be brought back to life. I doubted it was impossible but Because she’s a healer and knows best, I believed her” he felt stupid now thinking about the things he had done by just believing her words filled with lies.

Poco was a healer, TBE very best of the best capable of healing any sort of illness or disease no matter how critical it was.

No wonder he believed so easily.
And it was her daughter they were talking about so she couldn’t lie about it he had thought.

“That’s impossible. How dare you frame her in such manner and because of her” he pointed to Red behind him.

“My beta Cedric overheard their conversation. She confessed to it all. Tell them!” he yelled at poco to see her shiver at his tone.

“Mom, is this true?”

“I…I don’t know what he’s talking about believe me she’s got him against me” she said trying her best prove herself innocent in their eyes.

She was scared because her fears were finally coming to pass.

“Lie one more time I dare you” growled drakko now leaving Red to step towards poco not caring if she was being protected by drex.

Drex stood his ground not wanting him to come anywhere near his mother and Poco who saw this began to shed tears.

She knew her son was no match for Drakko if they were to go one on one and besides drakko had the higher advantage seeing they were in his pack house.

It won’t do her good to see her son beaten because of her.

“It’s true okay? Everything is true. Now please stop the argument” she said with tears in her eyes for drex to turn to her in disbelief.

“Don’t feel scared, I’m here” he tried to assure her but she only shook her head in despair.

“Its really true. I did what I did for Agatha. I must wanted to keep her promise” tears streamed down her face.

“Bullshit!” Said drakko hos face now dark as ever as she confessed it with her own mouth.

His base turned to Red whose face was ashen and a pang of sympathy hit him hard.

“Take her away” he growled for Cedric to modern because he was in his Territory, drex couldn’t so anything but watch as his mother was being taken away.
