A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL : CHAPTER 211 – 220

“I don’t need to scare you; I just need to survive,” I retorted, my voice steady despite the chaos swirling inside me.

He moved closer, testing my resolve. I held the knife firmly, ready to defend myself. “You’re going to regret this,” he warned, but I could see a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes.

“Not as much as you will if you come any closer,” I shot back, my heart racing.

The room felt small and suffocating, but I was fueled by adrenaline and the desperate need to escape.

“Do you really think you can win?” he challenged, a hint of mockery in his tone.

“I don’t need to win; I just need to get out of here,” I replied, my grip tightening around the knife.

In a sudden move, he lunged at me again, but I was ready. I sidestepped his advance, bringing the knife up in a defensive stance. I could feel the rush of power surge through me as I faced him down.

“You’re just a scared little girl,” he taunted, attempting to regain control of the situation.

“Maybe,” I said, my voice unwavering. “But I’m not going down without a fight.”

With that, I lunged forward, slashing the air between us. The blade glinted ominously in the dim light, and I was determined not to let him take me again. I had fought too hard to get this far, and I wasn’t about to let him dictate my fate.

He hesitated, his bravado faltering as he realized I was serious. “easy girl” he warned, but I was already moving, my instincts guiding me.

“Get back!” I shouted, using the knife to create distance between us.

As he backed away, I felt a surge of confidence.I dashed for the door, adrenaline pounding through my veins. I could hear him moving behind me, but I wouldn’t look back. I had to keep pushing forward.

Before I could open the door, he grab my hair, pulling me back…. I wince in pain, turning around, I use the knife, piercing it right into his throat, he step back, blood gushing out, I pull out the knife and stare at how he tried to stop the bleeding.

I had no time to dwell on the fact that I just killed someone.

With a swift motion, I flung the door open and bolted into the corridor. The dim light flickered overhead, and I sprinted, not knowing where I was headed, but knowing I had to keep moving.

I could hear him cursing behind me, but I didn’t slow down. My heart raced as I navigated the maze of hallways, desperate to find an exit. I could feel the weight of his presence closing in, but I refused to let fear take hold.

“hey!” I heard a voice call out, and my heart leaped. It was one of the girls, the dark-haired one. “This way!”

Without thinking, I followed her voice, my instincts guiding me. She and the other girl were waiting at the end of the hallway, their expressions a mix of relief and urgency.

“Come on!” the brown-haired girl urged, pulling me toward a door that looked like it led outside.

I could hear the men footsteps echoing behind me, and adrenaline surged through me again. “Hurry!” I gasped, pushing through the door they held open.

Once outside, the cool night air hit me like a wave, refreshing and invigorating. I took a deep breath, the scent of freedom filling my lungs. But there was no time to waste.

“Which way?” I asked, my heart racing.

“Follow us!” the dark-haired girl said, leading the way down a narrow path.

I glanced back, fear gripping me as I heard the door slam open behind us.
