“Again!! Against!!”. Mulan cheered as she began running back to the tall book shelves but Ocean grabbed her hand taking her away.
“Don’t go there. You’ll hurt yourself”. Ocean said but Mulan wouldn’t stop staring at the shelf.
“But baby is hiding there”. Mulan said as she pointed and Ocean dropped back her hand.
“No baby is there”. He said and Mulan turned to him while blinking puzzly.
“What do you mean? I saw him he come here—
“He didn’t. Nobody came here redflower, there’s no baby just me and you”. Ocean said and Mulan blinked sadly.
“Just me and You? Why?”. Mulan asked and Ocean sighed as he held her shoulders gently, while staring deep at her.
“Because it’s my study and you’re here–
“But baby isn’t here! Did you eat him? Do you want to eat me too?!”. Mulan gasped as she pushed Ocean away from her and ran away out of the door.
“I didn’t eat him red flower. Where are you running to?!”. The Emperor shouted as he ran out after her, but the moment he ran out a huge stick landed on his tummy and his eyes widened seeing it was Mulan.
“You maneater! You ate my baby!!”. Mulan screamed as she began hitting him continuously and the guards around instantly ran to them in shock.
“Your majesty!”. They called as they rushed to hold Mulan.
“Don’t touch her. Leave”. Ocean ordered and instantly the guards bowed puzzly as they went back to their post.
But Mulan stoped hitting Ocean as her gaze followed them, staring at the sword in their hands and then at the stick in her own hands.
“What? Your stick isn’t good enough to kill me so you want to upgrade?”. Ocean asked walking closer to her from behind, as he tried wriggling out the pain he felt and Mulan turned to him nodding.
“Where do I get them?”. She asked cluelessly referring to the sword and the Emperor took her hand.
“Come with me. I’ll take you there”. He said as he led the way, but Mulan suddenly stepped on her own toes and almost tripped but Ocean caught her by the waist, and carried her in a bridal style towards her room.
They walked past many servants who dared not peek. Afterall they promised to mind their business or they would end up getting beheaded like the gossipers earlier.
“This–this isn’t the place to get swords”. Mulan said as she jumped down from Ocean’s grip frowning.
They were currently in front of her chamber.
