With the Queen Mother having a satisfactory smile on her face the Emperor looked rather threatened as he glanced at the second Prince and shook his head disappointedly knowing how weak he was.
“But not everyone should really participate your majesty! Everyone in the three Realms, except the fugitive ex-Crown Prince is allowed to contest!”. The minister of law stated as he stepped forward with a paper in his hand and everyone gasped.
“Isn’t the first Prince reported to be dead with his body lost in the ocean?”. The Second Prince asked and the minister of law shook his head negatively as he raised up the paper in his hand showing it to the Emperor and the Emperor’s assistance walked to take the paper from him and give to the Emperor to read.
“During my usual inspections of our villages, I noticed almost all the villages I visited had this paper at hand.
I made research and found out the supposed dead First Prince made everyone under blossom village distribute this to the entire three realms”. The minister said and the Emperor after reading this angrily threw it away and the Queen Mother’s court lady went to pick it up and give it to her.
“He wants to rule the whole three kingdoms?!! How dare he make such a statement?!!”. The Emperor roared angrily and even Yan couldn’t calm him down.
While the Queen Mother after reading angrily squeezed the paper in her palm.
“Such insolence. How dare a wolfless prince covet the throne of great wolves! He deserves to be hanged!”. The Queen Mother stated strictly.
“That’s not the problem your majesties. The problem is, this contest about to be held actually unites the three kingdoms together to compete for the Alpha throne. Which is, anyone that emerges the winner can easily take over the three kingdoms at once, because the competition would have helped him to study them a lot!”. Minister of law said and the Emperor’s eyes widened.
“You mean, the Crown Prince actually planned all this then. He knew I and second sister would have our differences and agree to this contest”. The Emperor stated and the Prime minister who felt tricked by Minister Zhang turned to him, but Minister Zhang looked the other way avoiding his gaze.
“I still agree to the contest though! My Caspian has been training for years! Its not hard for him to emerge the winner–
“You’re being irrational now! Can’t you see we’re falling into his trap?!!”. The Emperor shouted but the Queen Mother only smirked.
“Just because your second Prince is weak doesn’t mean we all have to act like cowards alright?! And besides, the Crown Prince according to the minister of law, will be prohibited to compete in the contest, and even if he tries to sneak in.
We’ll make the requirements to join the competition, two things he doesn’t have. A wolf and a mate!!”. The Queen Mother said and the whole court became filled with talks, while the Emperor smiled satisfactorily.
“Yes. We’ll make it a contest not only to choose the next Emperor but also the next Empress. Which is, now we’re looking for a Crown Prince and a Crown Princess!!”. The Emperor said as he smiled staring at the Second Prince.
‘The Second Prince is quite weak on his own. But with his smart mate involved, no one comes close to him. But I’ll still make my fourth Prince compete, to increase my chances of winning. The throne is secured in my lineage!!’. The Emperor smiled happily, before laughing aloud and the Queen Mother joined him.
‘Brother thinks his son’s mate is the best. Wait till he sees my Caspian’s mate. They’ll tremble’. Queen Mother thought as she also joined the Emperor in laughing loudly confusing the whole ministers.
‘The Crown Prince will request for my head. I just ruined his entire plan’. Minister Zhang panicked in his head.

SOMEWHERE IN A VILLAGE
Villagers gathered around a notice board the moment they saw royal guards paste an info on it and left.
The Crown Prince dressed in a white robe and hoodie all over his head to cover half of his face and conceal his identity, also approached the board with Sky beside him and Sky smiled, reading the beginning.
“Minister Zhang actually received your message your highness”. Sky said and the Crown Prince’s cold stares on the notice only darkened.
“And they found out our plot”. He mumbled in a hush tone.
And Sky blinked puzzly before reading the requirements needed to compete and his eyes widened more.
“One need to have his own Wolf and a mate before competing?! But you have none of that?!”. Sky gasped as he turned to the Crown Prince who began walking away.
“Get Mulan”. He muttered in a deep voice, her name rolling out so smoothly from his pretty lips and Sky’s eyes widened…
