Everyone were present at Court. The Queen Mother sat right next to the Emperor on her separate throne while Concubine Yan sat right next to him again.
The Emperor was all smiles as he stared at his two sons who stood in front of the happybministers.
The Queen Mother also smirked also as she sipped from her cup of tea.
“This is our first meeting after we took down the major obstacle behind all our kingdom’s problems”. The Emperor said with a wide smile playing on his face and Concubine Yan grinned.
Then the Prime minister stepped forward.
“Now your majesty. We just need to Crown the Second Prince as the new Crown Prince so as to bring back stability into the palace!”. The Prime minister said and the Emperor grinned.
“Of course! By tomorrow my first Son! Second Prince Lycan—
“The Second Prince can’t become the Crown Prince because he’s too weak! He falls sick every snowy days and can’t do anything without his mate’s permission.
You’re more likely giving our kingdom to his mate, instead of him, just the same way you can’t make decisions without your mistress beside you”. The Queen Mother said poisedly and the Emperor turned to her with a glare.
“Second sister! What has come over you?! Didn’t we just partner up a while ago?!”. The Emperor shouted.
“Of course we joined hands to dethrone the Crown Prince, but we never joined hands to put the future of our Kingdom into the hands of another weakling!
We let the Wolf less First Prince become the Crown Prince only because his late parents were the Emperor and Empress of this great nation! We only gave him the title to appease his parent’s spirit even though he didn’t deserve it.
We both know that if our first Brother, the late Emperor were to be alive, he also wouldn’t have made his own Wolfless son the Crown Prince!
Now the Second Prince is also nowhere being a great ruler!”. The Queen Mother said and instantly the Emperor stood up in anger pointing at the Queen Mother who sat composed.
Then concubine Yan urged the Emperor to sit back down which he did.
“Who do you think is more suitable for the throne then?”. The Emperor said trying to conceal his anger and the Queen Mother let out a smile.
“It’s none other than my late daughter’s son. Caspian the third Prince—
“You scheming witch!! You want to change the Kingship lineage to yours!!!”. The Emperor shouted and The Queen gave him an arched eyebrow.
“If you could change the Kingship Lineage from first brother’s to yours, why can’t I?! My grandson will be returning from his 3years away quest by noon tommorrow to celebrate his birthday with us and I also hope by that same time, he’ll be crowned the Crown Prince at his birthday banquet!—
“Second Sister!!”. The Emperor shouted angrily holding his chest so as to avoid cardiac arrest.
Minister Zhang seeing what was going on smirked secretly then he moved closer to the Prime minister sneakily.
“You’re the Prime minister. Isn’t it time to show your power to these royals. Let them know why the late Emperor gave you your title. Impose the ‘Enthronement of people’s law’ to stop this disaster”. Minister Zhang whispered to the Prime minister before returning back to his post.
And the Prime minister cleared his throat loudly.
“We have no choice then. Situations like this is when the ministers take over. We’ll have to impose the enthronement of the people law, in order to get our next Crown Prince”. The minister said and both the Emperor and Queen Mother glanced at him and the other ministers nodded in agreement.
“This law as few of us know was created by our Current and Late Emperor’s father. Is a competition held by the ministers at the royal palace to decide the next Crown Prince who will later take over as the Emperor of this great kingdom.
And it is open to everyone in three realm!! All species of the Wolf Kingdoms of Omega, Rogues and also Alphas can participate to contest for the title of Crown Prince.
