“Shane” Ellen whispered and Shane stared at her shakily, Bang quickly took the phone from him and stared at it.
He stared at Shane immediately.
“I think You guys are right, Mr Joey’s Attacked was on Ellen and also a warning to you” Bang said and Shane turned growling slowly so he won’t draw attention.
Bang sighed and turned to his colleague handing the phone to him.
“Here trace the contact, and Mr Smith, I think you need protection from the cops, We will have securities in your home and tighten securities at your company too” Bang said.
“Please do, he barely survived death from the Culprit twice” Ellen sobbed slowly and held Shane whose head was still thinking.
” Here, I think it is a burner phone, there is no way it is traceable” the second Cop said and Shane took his phone.
“Please find a way to question him by tomorrow” Shane pleaded and Bang nodded.
“Of course we will, bye for now and take care , we will keep investigating your Friend’s case also” Bang assured and Shane bowed slowly.
Bang sighed and walked away with his colleague.
” Place an AOB on Max” Bang said.
” Yes sir”.

Ellen rubbed Shane’s arm trying to Relief him off his Burden, this is too much and so complicated for him.
“Am sorry, this is all my fault, if only we are not …”
“That is enough, I might want to hear other soothing words but don’t ever mention it being your fault for being with me, okay?”, Shane scolded and Ellen sighed and looked away
“But…” He cut her off with a kiss and she shut her eyes immediately, it was more soothing.
“That’s enough” he said and she nodded
He held her waist and led her back to the Operation waiting room.
They met the rest still sitting.
Linda looked up and frowned at Shane, she chuckled immediately.
” You are seeing a little girl just few hours after divorcing your wife? ” Linda muttered and Matilda glared at her while Ellen frowned.
“I think you should just shut up if you don’t know what to say in this situation, she is better off than been an Old Maid who even in her thirties doesn’t have any Man in her life” Matilda fired and her brows shook as she balled her fist angrily.
Ellen breathed out in relief same as Shane.
” I think you heard, mind your business, and if you don’t want to, I don’t think you deserve to be here” Shane added.
” You… “,
” That’s enough Linda” Park calmed her down holding her arms .
” And Shane, you shouldn’t talk down on Your Friend’s Fiancee that way” Park said and Linda smirked.
” Fiancee? ” Ellen muttered, ooh no, Hailey!.
” Shane, who is she to Joey? ” Ellen questioned.
“Joey’s Ex who is back, and both parents wants them to get Married” Shane replied.
” So she is the Bitch Hailey has been talking about” Ellen said glaring at Linda.
“ooh, and about the Hailey, I think you should call her immediately it is dawn.” Shane said and she nodded.
Hailey would be so out of it if she learnt of this.
” Did you call Hazel? ” Park questioned Shane and he shook his head.
“please don’t for now, I will do that tomorrow myself ” Park said and Shane nodded.
Shane sighed loudly, this isn’t it, Max if you are the one, this isn’t the talk.
Soon the CS door slide opened and Mark walked out taking off his nose Mask and everyone rushed to him.
“Did it go well?” Park asked quickly and Mark stared at Shane who nodded at him to go on.
“Yes, but I fear he went into Coma, his system was badly damaged, I think the stab was done too harshly and terribly, he will take months to heal or wake up, am sorry ” Mark said calmly and Shane shut his eyes while Ellen rubbed his arms.
“Goodness” Park muttered and sat weakly on the seat.
“Abeoji” Linda called calmly.
“He will be moved into the recovery room for now until he is safe from getting infected before he will be moved to a Ward” Mark said and Shane nodded.
“So are you saying he won’t be able to breathe on his own?” Linda questioned.
“Yes, he was partially dead before he was found, so we can only hope and pray for a quick recovery, I will take my leave then” He said and bowed before walking away.
” Who would do such to him” Matilda almost sobbed .
Shane balled his furiously that he felt his body shaking, Max will surely pay for this.
