THREE WEEKS LATER

Ellen yawned loudly as she woke up weakly, she sat up on the bed and her throats felt chunky as the urge to throw up hit her, she scrambled up from the bed and rushed to the Bathroom to throw up.

She finished and she walked weakly to the Mirror stand and stared at her plump and slowly round face, her face was paled and she looked sick.

She sighed and rinsed her mouth and face, this morning sickness started yesterday, and it was sickening to her.

It has been three weeks now, three weeks since when she kept working as Shane’s Maid, Avoiding him, they never spoke a word to each other.

Three weeks since her Mother was still in Coma from her operation, she remembered there were complications and they had to perform another surgery on her.

And Max never seized to Amaze her by been by her side, even if he didn’t tell her about his feelings, she knew how he felt.

She smiled and rubbed her swollen eyes and slowly walked out of the bathroom.

She stopped immediately when she realized something, she quickly rushed to grab her Phone and stared at the time, she gasped loudly covering her mouth, oh no, Shane’s Breakfast!.

She flung her phone on the bed and rushed out of the room immediately, she was even barefooted.

Gosh, she can’t bear to speak to Shane because of today, she has tried not speaking to him for three weeks, she can’t spoil that.

She stopped abruptly when she saw Shane coming out from his room already dressed and she fiddled with her fingers looking away.

Shane just stood staring at her and she noticed the way his eyes roamed her body.

She slowly followed his eyes and noticed she was still in her short nightgown and she screamed,

Shane cursed and turned immediately rubbing his red nose

“Arrghhh!” She screamed again covering her naked thighs.

She turned and rushed back to her room immediately, why was she suddenly feeling hot .

Shane eyes shook vigorously and he tilted his neck grabbing his well arranged tie and started loosening it

Fuck!, What was she thinking running out in just her night gown, hold on, it can’t be that she is just waking up, .

He started walking downstairs immediately, his Three weeks staying with her was like been with a ghost.

Well it was kind of tormenting, the fact that even with the wrong he did with her, his guilt started turning to lust which was Abominable, well it was best they avoided each other because he was scared he might make a dangerous move on her.

But seeing her this morning in those Nights wears, damn, she was really planning to end him.

And about Ivy, they were still contacting each other, although he was feeling strange, she would be back in a week time and he kind of was excited and at the same time down.

He got to the Dinning and he blinked slowly when he met the table empty, he was right after all, she was just waking up which was unlike her.

Soon he heard running Footsteps and he turned to See Ellen rushing to him, she stood some few feets away from him and bowed, she was now dressed Properly, her long hair was tangled on her head which made her looked like an hot Model.

“I…. I am sorry I woke up later, I was just feeling too tired” Ellen stuttered and Looked up, Shane stared at her closely

She should have left after her Mom’s bill’s which she didn’t know he was the one was paid, but why was she still here?.

And she looked sick, and she was slowly getting more rounder and fat.

“I can eat out, you look sick, are you okay?” He asked and she touched her face immediately, sick?.

“Ooh am fine, why don’t you sit, I’ll make a quick Breakfast, of Oat” She said and he shook his head.

“Make a proper food and come give it to me at the Company” he said and her brows moved.

“Wh… What?”, She stuttered.

“We finally spoke to each after many weeks” He said and she shook her eyes slowly.

“Am sorry Mr Shane, but I am not in position of bringing you foods to the company” Ellen said coldly and bowed.

She made to leave but he held her hand and she swallowed hard turning to him.

“Ha… Have you forgiven me?, I mean about what I did?” Shane asked and Ellen licked her tooth.

“Why? Are you scared I might say it to your wife?, Don’t worry, I am not someone like that” Ellen said and he shut his eyes letting go of her hand.

” Can you stop bringing her into this mess? ” He questioned in a calm but hard voice and she licked her lower lip.

” Wow, okay, I won’t involve her into the damn mess you created!”, She snapped angrily, and turned walking away and he frowned.

“Wh… What was that?” He stuttered and sighed dropping his hands on his waist, he is right, she should stop mentioning Ivy in it.
