CHAPTER 25
ROMEO’S MANSION
Juliet leaned on the car with her hands in her pocket as she whistled..
Romeo designated a car to her. She’ll use the car to pick up his son everyday.
“Where is daddy!! I want to see daddy!!” A young boy cried loudly as a maid took him out of the gate.
“Daddy had an early meeting to attend to okay?” The maid tried to cajole him but he shook his head in tears.
“Daddy never leaves without seeing me. You’re lying!” He cried.
Juliet who was watching that sighed and walked to them. She really doesn’t like seeing children cry.
“Hey kiddo” Juliet crouched down in front of her.
“Who.. Who are you?” The boy asked slowly
“I’m your new driver” Juliet said.
He shook his head in tears.
“No.. Daddy always takes me to school, why is it now you? Does he no longer love me?” He cried loudly.
Juliet sighed and smiled before patting his hair..
“No it’s not that.. You see your father, I thinks he is more busy these days but that doesn’t mean he does not longer love you.
He’s just working more so that he can buy you new toys. You love toys right?” Juliet asked and he nodded.
“Great! You daddy is working so that he can buy them to you. Don’t worry, when I’ll come pick you up from school, we’ll go buy ice cream.” Juliet cleaned his tears.
“Chocolate flavor?” He asked and Juliet nodded.
“Sure.. Even vanilla, any flavor you want I’ll buy them for you. So, shall we go?” Juliet asked and he sniffed then smiled before nodding.
“That’s my boy… What’s your name?”
“Alvin” He smiled out his dimples.
“Awwn you’re too cute” Juliet gushed and pinched his cheek.
“Too cute to be that duck’s son” Juliet said inwardly.
“I’m Juliet.. Come let’s go!” Juliet held his hand and they both walked to the car.
The maid just stood there, looking at them dumbfoundedly.
“How did she do it?”

“Dmn!” Angelo moaned out painfully as he stretched his back.
“What’s up dude? You’ve been doing that since we’ve arrived” Chance asked.
“You won’t understand. My mom literally wanted me déad when she hired her as my tutor.. I failed all the questions she almost peeled off my back!” Angelo whined.
Chance chuckled and looked front. His eyes brightened when he saw Tasha entering the hall.
“I’ll be back!” Chance stood and walked to her.
He held Tasha’s hand and pulled her out of the hall before she could see who pulled her.
“What are you_ Chance? Chance!” Tasha’s eyes brightened and she hugged him.
Chance smiled and hugged her back..
“I was looking everywhere for you yesterday. Didn’t know we were course mates!” Tasha smiled widely.
“Umm.. Actually, tonight I have something really important to tell you. Can I come pick you up by 8?” Chance asked.
“Sure, let’s go in. Lectures are about to begin” Tasha said and went in
Chance brought out a box containing a necklace in it. He smiled as he stared at it before walking in the hall.
