Episode Two

[The Date]??

Myles’s POV
“Skyler, you were right”. I said and Skyler laughed and stretched his hands.

“Where’s my money?”. He asked and I chuckled.
“I can’t give you anything”. I replied…

“So who’s the lucky date?”. He asked.
“It’s no other person than that fool Ellen Quentin”. I replied.
“At least you now have your date”. Skyler said and I nudged him with an elbow.

“What about Rita Taylor, my girlfriend, how will she feel if she hears that I’m dating another girl”. I asked with guilt in my eyes.

“I really don’t know, she would be definitely hurt”. Skyler said .
“The date is in an hour time, I’m scared I might beat her to death if she tries to be rude or proud”. I said ..

“That’s how love start”. Skyler said and I hit him in his stomach. ..
”I cannot love that animal”. I said and Skyler roared in laughter

“Animal indeed”. He said.
“Do you have a girlfriend?”. I asked.
“Yes”. He nodded and blushed. “Her name is daphe, she’s this nerd although she isn’t cute”. He said and frowned as I patted him.

“Being beautiful doesn’t have anything to do with love, come to think of it, if she’s beautiful like Ellen, all the guys would want to have he and she would look like a competition which you would hate”.

I replied and he smiled.
“You’ve got brains elder brother”. He said and I chuckled and hugged him.

Ellen’s POV
“I’ve never been on a date before”. I said as I paced round the room.

“You’re joking right?”. Cindy asked.
“What in the world am I going to wear”. I asked loudly flinging myself on the bed.
“It’s like you’ve gone crazy or something, wear something fantastic”. Cindy said.

“The only cloth I think I can wear are my office wears”. I said and stood up.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to look like a business woman?”. Cindy asked.

“Yea, it’s not bad” I said opening my wardrobe.
“Wow, wear this sexy silk gown or better still this red backless flow cocktail gown, wow you’ll surely borrow me this cupped backless ball gown if I have a date with Jeremy”.

She said and I chuckled picking a blue fancy suit with a tight fitted black miniskirt…

“Don’t tell me you’re gonna wear this”. Cindy said
“I don’t have to tell you”. I said and walked into my dress room and changed into the dress.

“Wow, you look great”. Cindy commented.
“Oh, you flatter me a lot, it’s almost time for my date”. I said and weaved my hair to the back quickly.

“You look like all those African Girls on TV”. She said and I chuckled.
“He..ll No”. I replied and picked my bag.
“Myles future wife”.. Cindy teased and I got offended.

I sat on the table anxiously waiting for the peacock to show up…

It was already twenty minutes and the fool was nowhere to be found. If he doesn’t have manners, I’ll teach him one, I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t forced…

“Waiter”. I heard his voice about and he sat down facing me but he didn’t look at me.
“Do you like to look at our menu sir?”. The waiter asked.

“I don’t have time for that”. He replied bluntly. “I’ll just have braised rice with chicken casserole”. He said.
“And you ma’am?”. The waiter asked facing me.

“,I’ll have tomato homellete with potato chips and also for dessert, I’ll have cream caramel”. I said and he left after getting the list of food we needed.

“So why did you come late?”. I asked angrily.
“I don’t see that as your concern, no one asked you to dress like an old hag”. He answered
