Episode Five

“Did they just lock the door”. Myles asked angrily.
Ellen slanted him a glance. “What were you doing in my room?”. She asked.

“Unhh Cindy, yes Cindy said you were locked up in your bathroom and I decided to help”. He said innocently…

“Well, even if in was dying, I wouldn’t need your help, who are you to help me, you’re not even rich up to Mark Zuckerberg or even Bill Gates and you want to help me”. Ellen mocked laughing.
Myles Scoffed. “You’re an ingrate”.

“And you’re a pasty animal”. She shot back.
“Cindy, open the damn door”. Myles said in a commanding tone.

“Brother, we can’t open the door”. Skyler said and Myles was furious.
“Open this door silly”. He ordered.

Myles rattled the doorknob furiously as he looked frustrated. “Do you have a spare key?”. He asked

“Yes but I don’t know where I dumped it”. She replied as he sank to the floor and she sat on the bed.

She’s careless, absolutely not a wife material… He observed.
He’s such a loser, gave up easily… She observed.

“Sorry I insulted you at the date”. He said.
“Sorry I poured a drink on your dress”. She apologized without concern.

“I don’t know why our parents are forcing us to get married”. He said and leaned on the wall. Ellen ignored his words and laid on the bed.

“I want to sleep incase they open the door”. Ellen said and covered her self with the bedsheet.

Rude… Myles thought… “Wake me up” He mimicked.
“Are you guys having fun in there?”. Skyler asked and chuckled.??

“If you don’t open this door, I’ll never get you a new phone, a packet of Oreos, a cute dog”. He said with a sigh.
“No brother, stay in there with your girlfriend”. Skyler said.

“Girlfriend.”. Ellen and Myles chorused at the same time.
“Look don’t be a lazy man, break that door”. Ellen said sitting on the bed.

“Do you realise that it’s a metal door?”. He asked.
“You’re a coward”. She said

“And you’re a fool”. He replied.
“You’re so immature”. She fired.

“And you’re too harsh and proud”. He shot back
“Harsh, you’re lucky you found a beautiful woman like me to talk to you”.
She said ????

“Sorry, who’s deceiving you that you’re beautiful”. He asked and chuckled.
He scoffed. “Beautiful indeed”. He added.????

“Do you think i would be locked here with you if not for your insane brother?”. She asked.?

“Don’t refer to my brother in that manner”. He ordered with a commanding tone.
“Who are you?”. Ellen asked in a mocking tone.

“I’ll also you if you don’t shut up”. He said and raised his hands to slap her.
“Brother stop”. The door opened and Skyler came in and Myles went out angrily.

“I’m really sorry”. Skyler said and left as Cindy came in and Ellen sat down shocked.
“He almost slapped me”. She muttered..

Ellen’s POV??
“He’s a man and he has control over you”. Cindy said.
“We’re not yet married, so he doesn’t own me, I can’t marry that Peacock”. I said and flinger my hair to the back. “I must make him feel depressed”. I said and ran out of the house.

“Hey Peacock”. I called him as he approached the exit door and he turned back to me.

“Let me make this clear to you, if I ever get married to you, on our wedding day, I won’t show up”. I said
