I laid Kayla and Noel to bed after reading them loads of bedtime stories for about an hour and some minutes.
Imagine coming home from work, preparing dinner for family and also putting the kids to sleep and they’d say they don’t want a nanny?
Fk sht!.
Whether Janietta or any of my kids like it or not.. I’m getting them a nanny.
Jeez! I stink. I haven’t even had my night’s bath. All these stress are just too much.
They don’t only need a nanny.. they are also going to have a mommy cause I’m dead sticking to Mark’s advice.
By weekend, I’m bringing Alicia to see my kids. So they’ll get to know each other better.
She seems interested in them. And that’s the more reason I like her Choice.
If I’m gonna get married , it’s gonna be with someone that loves and care for my kids so much.
I put on my towel and walked into the bathroom.
What I need now is a calm bath.

“Like I saw Davy with some ?itch!!!”
I screamed out to Nora’s face as I pulled off my shoes.
I just came back not long ago and I’m upset as fk!
“Calm down Alicia. What if it isn’t what you’re thinking”… Nora arched a brow at me and I scoffed in disbelief.
“..and what do you think I’m thinking huh?..”
“I know what you’re thinking Ali.. what if she’s his niece, sister.. relative?… You know”
She tried to explain things out to make me feel better.
“The hell Nora! I doubt she’s anywhere being his relation with the way he was holding her towards his car” I rolled my eyes as I crashed on the couch.
“You’re taking things too hard on yourself my Friend. Since you don’t know who she is, why not ask David about her”..
She suggested.
Hmm. Makes sense though, but Nah . I’ll pass
“Ask him? Like a jealous and desperate Alicia right?” I frowned.
“Well… I’ll just let it to rest. Not like I’ll be seeing her around him all the time.
I think there’s really nothing to worry about” I added with a deep breath..
Trying to soothe my nerve with those assuring words.
? ROSIANA ?
“It’s fine Rosiana.. I’ll be alright. I can take care of myself okay”
I stared at my mom who kept on reassuring me to take the job offer from David that she’ll be fine by herself.
“Mom.. I’m s-scared. I’m scared to leave you alone by yourself. Considering your condition. You need me more than ever.”
I spoke out in fear that night. I’m so not sure about this.
“All you need now is a Job Rose. And not to babysit me. I am your mother and when I tell you something, you listen to it.
Like I said before, I’ll be fine. You can come visit me at weekends. Just like David suggested”
Yeah.. Mr David.
He dropped me home immediately after lunch and he met with my mom. He seemed really nice to her.
He already paid me the $1,000 he promised and I couldn’t help to be so grateful.
He’s a really nice man.
“Hmm. Okay. I’ll come every weekend as planned. But please Mom.. make sure to call me whenever issues arises please.”
My mom can sometimes act strong, even in tough situations.. but I know deep down, she isn’t too happy that I’ll be leaving her sight.
She just doesn’t want to show it. All she wants is what is best for me. And that’s why I love her so much.
I smiled inwardly before lying with her on the bed.. I need to spend tonight in her arms .
Cause tomorrow, I’ll be in a new place.. a new home with another family.
I just hope I find favor in their eyes.

“Welcome to my place…”
David grinned as he brought out my things from the Booth showing me his house.
Like it’s my first time to be here.
I giggled a little and took my bag from him.. muttering a “Thank you”
It’s like the house grows more beautiful by the day. I thought as I stared round in amazement.
And just then, the three kids came out of the house. Heading towards us.
“I guess she’s our new nanny”
The little boy gazed at me with questioning eyes.
I’ve kinda forgotten his name. It’s actually been a week and some days now .. so I can’t recall.
“Y-yes.. I a-am” I stuttered a little feeling my sweaty Palm.
” Well, we don’t actually want a Nanny. Or someone to babysit us… But so long you satisfy my Craving stomach.. I don’t have a problem with you. Lady Rosiana..”
He smiled a little and I nodded.
Baby Kayla came forward and touched my hands..with a smile..
I’d never forget her name. She’s the sweetest being I’ve ever come across.
“Kayla” I spoke softly under my breath with a smile.
She smiled and walked even more closer.
“I like you Rosiana”
It came out so sweet from her and I almost melted in happiness.
She giggled and ran over to hug her dad.
The oldest one whom I guess her name is Jain?… Janet? Janie?.. or whatever… Stared at me in a way I can’t really tell.
Her face reading of disapproval. She gave me a weird look before walking back inside… And I don’t know why, but I just felt a sharp burn in my chest.
Did I do something wrong?
I stared as she left and then to her dad with questioning eyes.
“L-Lets… Take your things inside while I show you to your room”
He cut into my intense stared. Taking the bags from me..
“Okay?” I arched.. and followed behind.
It’s definitely so obvious.
This Jain, Janie? Janet or whatever her name is…
Doesn’t like me for a bit.. and I bet she doesn’t want me here too..
