CHAPTER 116

XXIV CARATS, 9AM**

Cypress’s eyes widened when she came into the store to meet hundreds of customers, they were even lining up to buy the jewelries and she almost couldn’t believe her eyes?

What the h’ll is happening? Is this really the store she works at?

She was still wondering at each step she took, till Oliver appeared behind her.

“Hey tomboy”

She swiftly turned back to see him smiling brightly as usual.

“What’s… happening…here?” She asked, forgetting what happened yesterday.

“Your Livestream on Limited Mell’s IG did this” he said, and her eyes widened.

“Cypress!!!” The boss screamed, rushing to them

“Thanks for mentioning this store on the Livestream! Can I ever love you less?

Even though you’re stubborn but you’re still the best! Yes!” He hugged her, and she smiled, finally getting a hang of it.

“It’s nothing, boss” she said, breaking the hug

“Go change and join the others! Customers are still coming! I think we’re gonna sell out everything today” he said and left.

Cypress was still smiling as she walked into the locker room, but immediately she dropped her bag…

“Cypress” Oliver called, coming in.

She quickly faced him, and he smiled awkwardly.

“Are you still mad at me? I called close to ten times last night, you didn’t pick” he said.

“Huh?” She quickly checked her phone to see his calls she missed.

“I didn’t check my phone, and it’s silent” she said slowly, and he came closer.

He held her hands, and she folded her fists.

“Please look at me” he whispered, and she slowly looked up.

“I didn’t kss her, it was her who made the move and caught me off guard” he said, and she blinked before looking away.

“I know” she said.

“Then… Why are you mad at me?” He replied.

“Why were you both in this room in the first place? And…you..you could have pushed her away before she could even reach your lips” she said, and he went silent.

She slowly looked up again and found him smiling this time.

“What?” She blinked.

“Was that jealousy?” He said, and her eyes widened.

“Get out!” She began pushing him, and he laughed till he got to the door and looked back.

“You should wear sxy clothes too, I really wanna see what you look like when you dress like a girl” he said.

“Just go!” She pushed him out completely and shut the door, then she blew air out of her mouth, fighting the heat she’s suddenly feeling.

Oliver was still smiling till he got back to the store, and he nearly bumped into Linda but he avoided it and changed direction.

Linda scoffed and folded her arms under her bbs.

“Did he seriously just avoid me?”

She looked at the crowd of customers and scoffed again.

“And they’re here because of Cypress? Really?”

“It’s hightime I do something for real, for real” she smiled wickedly.
