CHAPTER 76
Jemima quickly rushed out of the car and ran after him, pulling him back by the right hand.
“I’m so sorry, I’ll always listen to you from now on ok? I won’t do it again so please…. don’t stay mad and talk to me” she pleaded, and he sighed before looking at her face.
Immediately he saw the tears, he furrowed his brows.
“Why are you crying?” He said, bringing his hands to it to start wiping the tears.
“Don’t stay mad, please ok?” She pleaded again.
“Just go to bed” he replied after wiping the tears.
“You’re not saying anything, are you still mad at me?” She sniffed.
“Let’s talk tomorrow, I still have a lot to do tonight” he said.
“What? Are you still going somewhere?” She asked.
“Secret” he replied, and she nodded.
“Can I still call you tonight?” She asked.
“I’ll be the one to call” he replied, and she smiled.
“Promise?”
“Sure, mommy” he replied, and she giggled.
“Now it’s mommy?” She said.
“Sorry, Jemima” he laughed and stroked her hair a bit before turning to leave.
She stood still, watching him walk till he stopped and looked back.
“Goodnight” he waved.
“Sweet dreams” she replied, and he smiled before walking out of sight.
She smiled widely and walked into the mansion, meeting Dolores in the living room.
“Welcome ma’am, are you ok?” She asked immediately.
“Why?” Jemima blinked.
“I saw the news, the attempted rape” she replied.
“It’s online already?” Jemima replied, getting a tab from the center table.
She opened the tabloids and found it there for real…
