ANDRADE-KINGS MANSION
Chairman returned from Skyline Island an hour ago. He went to play golf with his friends, and after showering, he settled down in the living room.
He was watching the news when Clara came down and sat beside him.
“Any news?” He faced her.
“Heard Mr Roberts will be coming over to Paris tonight for the Golden contract” She said.
“Yeah, it’s the largest contract I’ve always dreamt of getting. If Skyline gets it, then we’d go up to the most popular in eight more countries, and our stock prices will fly, i trust Jemima anyways” he replied.
“Is that why you haven’t been saying anything about the pictures with her secretary? He’s the same guy who threw water at my face yunno?” She replied.
“Can I watch the news in peace?” Chairman said.
“You’ll continue supporting Jemima till the end? Chairman!” She spranged up, and chairman stood too.
“I’ll just go take a nap” he said and went upstairs.
“Insane!” Clara barked and got her phone.
She dialled Tatiana, and she picked at the first ring.
“Mum?”
“Even if it means using your body, Skyline mustn’t get the Golden contract” she replied.
“Sure, trust me” Tatiana said.

SKYLINE CORPORATIONS~ 5PM
“Mell!” Francesca gushed as she came into the office with Sloane and Miguel.
“Frances!” Maxwell stood and walked out of his desk to carry her.
He swirled her around, and she kept laughing happily.
“Mell!”
“I missed you” he kssed her hair.
“Then you should have come to see me” she pouted, and he sighed before dropping her on the desk.
“I was busy, yunno about the pictures” he said, stroking her hair repeatedly.
“Then…are you dating my mum for real? When are you both getting married? Can I switch from Mell and start calling you daddy?” She asked, but before he could reply, Sloane coughed behind to bring them back.
“Miss Sloane!” He faced her and carried Miguel too.
“You always look more handsome, I wanna be like you in the future” Miguel said.
“Oh come on” Maxwell grinned.
“But I’m for real” Miguel replied.
“Aww!” Maxwell stroked his hair too and faced Sloane fully.
“I’m sorry once again about the cancelled dinner” he said, and she smiled before holding his right arm.
“It’s ok, we can always schedule another.
He smiled back and tried removing his hand, but she held tighter, and Jemima came out of the office that instant.
Immediately she saw the hands, she smirked.
“Mum!” Francesca rushed to hug her.
“Baby” she smiled, carrying her in her arms.
“I’m done for the day, let’s go home” she kssed her cheeks.
“Sure” she smiled.
“It’s been long since we met up, should we have dinner together tonight?” Sloane asked after letting go of Maxwell’s hand.
“Let’s make it another day” Jemima replied and walked out of the office.
“Mell you’re owing me one outing! Don’t forget!” Francesca shouted.
“Sure” he waved as they went out of sight.
“Is everything ok with my friend? She seems to be avoiding me” Sloane said.
“Of course, maybe stress” Maxwell replied, and she tried holding his hand again, but he shifted back this time…
“Are you really….in love with… Jemima?” She asked, and his brows lifted.
